i havent even done the numbers but im pretty sure it goes like this:

yeah the standings may represent that but this isnt the standings. look at the matchup between the two teams in a few games from now. we got them. our two losses were early on and certainly with a different look on the field.

well if you didnt want this to look like a desperate joke of a thread, you could have at least done a ranking system to prove this

Matchup ratings don't mean anything.
If they had, then Port ST Lucie would be the 6th best team in alpha conference.
And incase you missed that, they are the worst with 11 clear losses.

Everything will be decided in two days when we play the Bluebirds. It should be a good match up.

I'm speaking of player vs player matchups not that stupid preview comparison. Game of the week: Paladins take on the Bluebirds to try and hand them their first loss.

Oh, well guess we all say GO BLUEBIRDS!

I think the Paladins which is my team is the best team. If I didn't feel that way, then I don't think I should be on the team. It's one thing to explain why we're better, boast about being better and disrespect other teams in the league but it's another to just say we're the best because we're just showing team pride. My guys just say we're the best but don't say things like we're gonna kick your teams' butts or whatever. But just like my GM Matt said, we just want to have fun on this thread. If you ask the owners of some of the teams we've played, we've shown nothing but respect.

in fact id prefer you say youd kick other team's butts' than say youre the best - shows you have your feet in reality, but are optimistic about your chances.

id say calling a thread 'zeta conference rankings' with the accompanying first post, shows little respect for your opponents

personally i dont think my team is 'the best' in alpha - weve been beaten by better teams. do i want to leave? no. because i see this team developing and moving on to better things. do i think were gonna beat the spaniard warriors? you bet on it.

the point i was making about my post, is that if you really are the best, you shouldnt need to tell people.

then again we may be experiencing a cross-atlantic cultural rift

ahhh lighten up its called trash talking.

I think we are the best team in Zeta because I think we can beat the team which is first in the standings. simply stated. we will find out soon if i am correct
