Africa Pro's Season 8 Elephant All Conference Team

First and foremost I'd like to thank all of the owners and gm's who participated in this years vote. Without any participation this idea never gets off the ground. We did pretty good this year with a total of 10 of elephants 12 active teams voting. With 7 of Africa's 8 playoff teams returning ballots.

Winners at each position were decided by a popular vote. Those who got more than 1 vote but didn't win the overall tally were given honorable mention. Members of the All Conference Team are automatically nominated for the team the following year.

First ballot I got in didn't have Jedi on it. The other 9 that followed did. Amazingly enough this year was actually the year of minimal homer picks. People were thinking outside of the box alot. Usually everyone just picks whoever I have listed at #1 or a guy on their team (if he's nominated at that position) but this time that wasn't the case as much.....outside of obvious choices. There was one ballot in particular that after I had counted it, had ruined 3 peoples unanimous streaks. And the guys ballot wasn't bad, just thinking outside the box.

The biggest surprise for me was Billy Snurg not making it. He led Africa Pro in sacks this season and didn't get elected. That was crazy to me.

Excellent work Chugga! Was it me that ruined the unanimous streaks? I was doing my best to try to not just pick the obvious choice, I do think I voted for Jedi though.

Nope, not you. You did have a very original ballot though. Honestly I'm not even sure who it was (it's all deleted now) but I just remember like 3/4ths of the way through Wolverine and Squirrel were going 100% and that was ruined. Not a big DD fan I guess.
