Ownership of the Sackville Waterfowl has been transferred from previous owner Splendide to current owner Stevo1134. Stevo's first order of business was to move the team and change the name of the team. The team has moved from Sackville to Winnipeg, and the team is now known as the Winnipeg Wolverines. The team is to remain in Canada A2.
