Warrior General Games

Since this is the only time Bushy Park are ever likely to get to a Championship game I'm going to have a bit of fun with it (yes, I know we're likely to get murdered but still...)

These two teams know each other well.

Season 3

Bushy Park spent Season 2 undergoing great change and as a result they were relegated from #AAA. Season 3 proved to be just as hard as we literally went from the frying pan to the fire.

We were 1-5 when we met Stockholm and pundits suggested a whipping on the cards. Stockholm's top player back then was a running back name Cliff Battle, but at Bushy Park a sophmore WR named Carter Birch was having a decent year but there would be no shock result.

Season 4

Stockholm and Bushy Park met in the opening game of Season 4. The Badgers were hopeful of rebounding this year. Cliff Battle had a monster game, but it was Birch, McConnell and newly acquired FA, House of Power, who had the last laugh

This game marked a good start for the Badgers in which they were one point from a 6-0 record.

Season 5

The Badgers struggled throughout this entire season. They were 6-5 when they met Stockholm and were confident that, after the previous seasons success, they would go 7-5.

A bizarre lineup change saw TE The Tank play at RB but the game was a miserable affair. Stockholm pound the ball picking up 348 yards on the ground. Birch had another strong performance but his two TDs weren't enough

Season 6

Season 6 marked a landmark year for the Badgers as it was their first foray into the playoffs. They were 6-1, brushing future greats Rotterdam aside in the process, when they met Stockholm.

The offense which had blown six teams apart faltered and Stockholm's Richard Sharp and Christopher Johnson led their team to an impressive victory. Aside from the final defeat of the season to Dungannon (and the playoff game), this would be the Badgers's heaviest defeat.

Season 7

Cliff Battle had departed but a new threat by the name of Ernie Never now played at The Syn Dome. At Bushy Park, Carter Birch was one of the most lethal WRs in the Zeta and it would not have been unjust to say this game was Ernie Never vs Carter Birch.

Helsinki had hammered Bushy Park the game before leaving them at 9-4. I think both the Bushy Park and Stockholm camp expected a shootout, but no one saw this game coming.

Both DCs were later shot.

Season 8

Earlier this season the old foes met towards the end of the year. Bushy Park had suffered some crushing defeats and morale was low. Ernie Never took advantage and added to his impressive season with a 4 TD game as arguably the best Stockholm team swept the Badgers aside.

GG Stockholm, was another nail biter, especially as my script went nuts and i had us ahead only by 1 on your final drive!

Great game. I can't believe we won. Hopefully you'll be promoted as well to keep this rivalry going.

Good game Bushy Park. I did a real crummy job playcalling this one and it bit us big time, but you guys really played a great game. Good luck in the championship.

Only just noticed - see what play Birch scored on?

You guys got the home playoff games for the cash and you'll be coming up with us anyway, so we'll resume this next season

Just watched the game fully. Man, what a game. You were humping us and I thought "Oh no, at least let's keep it close. Please!" and then we kinda came back. I'm still in shock. We got some serious breaks as you had some drops, but overall I'm pleased with the way we played.

Birch did get his TD, but Johnny Williams was fantastic again.

The one my FB dropped is so inexcusable.

Since all the cool folk are in heyah. Just letting you folks know I'm not DC'ing for Rotterdam anymore 'cause I'm leaving GLB (military).

It's been an awesome fun time here, and weirdly I don't regret having duked it out with you guys for 3 seasons in the same league. Good luck to Bushy Park in the finals, and to both of you in AAA.
