we were scared, had to pull out all the stops to make sure we got another crack at krakow.

i wouldnt say scared, i would say it was closer to concerned, and i wouldnt have been surprised to see see you guys pull that game out.

Cant say it was a fun game to watch, but it was textbook smashmouth football.

yes we could have ran cupp roughshod over you from several different formations. that doesnt change that its our running game that took us this far so in a tough game that was necessary to win it was going to be used the entire time.

GG, you guys controlled the clock and pounded the ball and we couldn't stop it. 1 pass, 70 runs. Reminds me of classic Steelers football on a rainy, muddy day.

You won't be able to use the "power running" game like that next season as well. Supposedly this glitch is going to be fixed so it's not so easy for a power back to dominate an entire game. Everyone is doing it now and it's been noticed as being slightly "unrealistic."

i agree its unrealistic, and lyon is making changes to stay ahead of the game in the offseason. but as long as we have beasts like cupp and crash that we can lean on, we'd be foolish not to.

i wish the passing game was working and we could just run single back all day and pass it all over the field and to the tight ends and halfbacks, but with current game mechanics it just cant be done. i wish we could have a proper balanced offense that we could keep teams guessing all game but with current game mechanics and our current personnel it just cant be done. hopefully next season.

You couldn't have run up the score. Don't get that mistaken.

It's an exploit and pretty sad you had to go there to win. Everyone knows it and trying to defend using it just makes you look stupid. Admit that you used it like a cheap hooker and own it.

The sad part is your team didn't need it and I thought you were better than that.

By the way just because you were exploiting the same cheap tactic all year long doesn't mean it's all ok when you take it even further in the playoffs.

we didnt have to go there, ill agree with you on that. it was cheesy (but clearly not an exploit, all those broken tackles won the game, not the play itself), and jacksonville deserves better, but as an owner i weighed the pros and cons of it, and the possibility of not getting promoted if we lost outweighed any other negative. i wanted to ensure that we got a chance to avenge a loss to either newark or krakow.

our passing game isnt as strong as our running game, it would have been foolish and playing in to their hands if we passed it. why would we go out of our ways to put our team at a disadvantage in a game as important as that.

no we wont be doing it in the krakow game, i can guarantee that. the jacksonville game was to make sure we got promoted, nothing would be allowed to get in the way of that. we'll do our homework for you guys, i definitely want to see if we can pick up those 5 points we lost to you guys by in week 2 or not.
