Hello and welcome to this week's Power Rankings for Eastern Europe AA #4. If you thought last week's power rankings were odd, what with two #1s, then you ain't seen nothing yet. This week continues the trend of two #1s and it's not the two you're thinking of either. Be that as it may, the fact of the matter remains that there are 3 unbeaten teams still and none of them look to be slowing down or giving anyone a reason to doubt their supremecy.

My Power Rankings rely heavily on recent history to determine where you stand. A good record is also paramount but there might even be a bit of a disparity between teams with similar records depending on how tough their recent opponents have been.

So, without further ado:

The Top Ten

1. Tricity Hares (11-0) & Odessa Falcons (11-0) Last Week (LW): #3 & #1
In another mathematical tie, the Tricity Hares move up into the #1 spot thanks in part to having a marginally tougher strength of schedule over their past 4 games than the Krakow Cows. However, the piint differential between all three of these teams is a mere 0.31 so it's anyone's ball game at this point. Next week we should see who is more deserving of the #1 spot as both of these teams square off in the final 'Game of the Unbeatens' for GLB Season 2.

3. Krakow Cows (11-0) LW: #1
The only thing that dropped the cows out of the #1 spot was a slightly softer schedule than their fellow unbeaten colleagues. They'll move into the #2 spot next week as they go up this week against the Leceister Lynxes, another team doing their best to squeek into the playoffs.

4. Warsaw Warriors (10-1) LW: #4
The Warriors hold strong at #4 by beating the St. Petersburg Storm in a game that was closer than many anylysts thought possible. Could this be a sign of weakness or was this game an experiment gone wry? Regardless of the answer, they face a team on a downward spiral this week in the Haquenau Coyotes.

5. Dallas Smoke Stacks (9-2) LW: #5
The Smoke Stacks also hold strong at the #5 position after handing the Baker Mountain Bucks their 4th straight loss. They have a soft schedule for the rest of the season with the exception of a May 20th game against the Moscow Bears. Look for this team to go streaking into the playoffs as a real contendor for the crown.

6. London Head Hunters (9-2) LW: #6
The Head Hunters also hold strong to their #6 spot after beating up little old ladies in France. They go up against the St. Petersburg Storm this week before they get set to prepare for their May 20th contest against #4 Warsaw Warriors.

7. Minsk Ninjas (9-2) LW: #7
For the 3rd week in a row they Men-in-black-pajamas hold on to their #7 spot with a win over the London Dolphins. They face a team on a downward slide in the International Players this week and one hopes to see them continue their run of success after their May 10th loss to the Dallas Smoke Stacks.

8. Fehervar Enthroners (8-3) LW: #8
The Enthroners hold on to the #8 spot with a win over bottom-of-the-barrel team, the Warsaw Cossacks. They have a relatively easy game this week against the Florida Buccaneers before they go up against the unbeaten Krakow Cows on May 20th.

9. Tallaght Outlaws(7-4) LW: #10
Thanks to the continuing slide of the Baker Mountain Bucks, the Outlaws move up into the #9 spot on the strength of their 40-0 blowout of the Moscow Bears. Their only real contest between now and playoff-time is a may 22nd contest against the Enthroners, so expect the Outlaws to go into the post-season as strong as ever.

10. Baker Mountain Bucks (7-4) LW: #9
The only reason the Bucks are still in the top 10 is because they're the only other team with a 7-4 record. They face off against the Moscow Vandals this week, and unless the Bucks can pull out a win, this may be their last hurrah in the top 10.

Or maybe the Storm is gaining some momentum? Watch out London, you may not like what you see tomorrow. Go Storm!

12-0, awesome. Nice one Odessa, hard luck to Tricity. Was a good game, had a sneaky feelin that the Falcons would edge it. See you in the playoffs hopefully.

Woohoo! Can't wait to see how the Vandals move up after the victory over the Bucks! I am loving this streak we're on right now, and I am excited to see if we can get a playoff spot or not by the end of the season. Congrats again to Krakow, you guys continue to impress, and I can't wait to see how you all do in the next league you are in. Go Vandals!

Man i think the loss to Odessa will help the Warriors out. They are under the radar now so we can not always have the target on us. Kinda like the Giants.
