Dateline: Surabaya, The Pond, Capacity 55,520

Coming off a tough loss to the undefeated Sumatra Sting, the Dart Frogs nonetheless received a hero's welcome in their return to the Pond to face the Black Dragons from Burma. The Dart Frogs got off to a blistering start, scoring 45 unanswered points to start the game and leading 52-3 at the half before their ultimate 65-10 victory. The Dart Frogs finished their season at 15-1, matching their franchise record for regular season victories. The Black Dragons fell to 10-6, but will still make the playoffs in their first season in AA.

Surabaya had outstanding performances again from their all-league caliber lineup. The Frogs ended with two 1000+ yard rushers, 2 1000+ yard receivers, the top kick/punt returner, the leading FG kicker, and the #1 rated defense in the league, allowing an average of just 26 yards per game on the ground.

One of the newcomers that has been a key contributor to the Dart Frogs success this season is defensive end Julius Sanders. Sanders finished third in the league in sacks and had no missed tackles the entire season. He is both blazingly fast and coolly calm and collected. "I just like to lay down the hammer and put the QB on his backside. I have had so much fun this season. Fifty two sacks. That's more than my total from the previous two seasons. I credit the Surabaya strength and conditioning coach, who got me off my butt and into the gym." Sanders improved all his personal bests in the weight room and with the stopwatch this season, with a team best in the shuttle drill. In the off-season Sanders returns home to his $50,000,000 estate in New York, where he enjoys martial arts, playing drums for a grunge hip hop band, and vegetable gardening.

Meanwhile, the starting nose tackle for the Dart Frogs also made a big impression this season. El "Bubbalicious" PhD is cryptically, but aptly named. Bubbalicious got his name for making a science of blowing up and popping big, bubbly offensive linemen right in the QB's face, along with his penchant for chewing gum. Imposing in stature, El PhD was just as impressive in the classroom, as he earned his bachelors, masters, and doctorate in Muscular Physiology in three and a half years while starring as a 4-time All-American at Stanford University. El PhD speaks 5 languages fluently, and serves as an adjunct professor at Surabaya University in the off-season. "My knowledge of human anatomy and muscular structures, in particular, have benefited me in multiple ways. In football, it has allowed me to build ridiculous muscles and to know how to inflict maximum pain on the opposition." The 32-inch biceps and 44-inch quadriceps on Bubbalicious attest to his physical prowess, but the bubble-gum bubble emanating from his mouth as El PhD departed the interview room was larger than both.

The Dart Frogs are eagerly anticipating the post-season, as the Tibet Psychonauts come to the Pond in 2 short days. The Surabaya faithful have been camped out all week through torrential downpours to buy tickets. We here at the journal hope the Frogs don't disappoint.

I have written them up for losses in the past. Just takes time and admittedly it is harder to find the motivation to write them up for a loss. I'm sure you're happier to have the win and no write up versus a loss and a journal article

Let's just say I'd love to write one up for a Frogs vs. Sting game. Just waiting for a better opportunity

I do postgame summaries for every game on our forum, but only do write-ups when I can find the time/motivation.

GL in the playoffs. Should be fun. We have all our darts with poison tips ready for action.

Go Frogs!
