Should be interesting. The BBB 11 and 12 crops for promotion are VERY weak going into Season 9.

This is all dependent on expected playoff performance, also.

If they follow the same promotion/relegation scheme from the last two seasons, I count 4 Western teams that will probably be moving up or down, but only two replacements. Same in the East, where 6 teams would probably be moving up or down, but only 2 replacements.

WEST
Mentone Beach moving on up
Corpus Christi moving on up

LA Cobras moving on down
Washington moving on down

OKL City moving on in - USA BBB 11
one USA BBB 12 team moving on in

EAST
Tennessee moving on up
Boston moving on up
Sleepy Hollow moving on up

Iowa moving on down
Texas moving on down
Atlantic City moving on down

South Bend moving on in - USA BBB 11
one USA BBB 12 team moving on in

Are you honestly predicting the Fury will win a playoff game?

I think 7 teams moved out of A6 last season. Hard to say who the 7th would be if that were to happen this season.

It'll be interesting to see who moves down...

Can a team drop more than one league if they are gutted?

Probably something like this from the AA3 league (to both A6 and A5):

West
Hollywood Stars (Should be in BBB)
Possom Trot Plague (Gutted)
Elite Sea Team (Should be in BBB)
College Park Bulldogs (Gutted)
Washington Extreme (Solid team, but a bit outmatched. On the bubble for relegation. Would be a top 3 A5 or A6 team).

East
Cybermagination Dreams (might be coming right back to A6 after being promoted last season. Would be a top 3 team.)
Atlanta Mudcats (Clearly outmatched)
OK City Maulers (Gutted)
Enterprise Venon (Half Gutted)
Louisville Cowboys (3/4ths gutted)

we recieved this team in AAA... and we had to play down from AA to get here. so as far as Ive seen, no on more than one league demotion at a time.
and i dont see us moving down if bort thinks my stadium gives us an unfair adavntage... whatever the fuck that means for a team who has never won more then three games ina season in five seasons...

A gutted team would not necessarily drop all the way to the bottom -- A CPU owned team would.

The CPU teams have their stadiums reset and start over.

Well, only promotions done so far, so will be some more movement after relegations, but looks like we failed in our bid not to move up.

No disrespect to either team the Tighas just defeated in the playoffs, but no way a 7 seed that wins two close games over opponents who run the same things they did in the regular season should be automatically promoted. That's broken.

Now I don't know whether to gut my team, and fill them up with new guys to be competitive or just roll with what we have and go 1-15 in Season 9.

Congrats to Tennesee, Mentone Beach and CCIA on their (correct) promotions.

I would say the top for teams from here will make the playoffs in AA3. Of course the top 4 teams from here will also find an early exit in the playoffs, but hell we're used to that in Mentone Beach

Yea, we too are looking forward to our early playoff exit next season. I do think it'll be a struggle for the Tighas this season, but that's the way the sim is weighted (towards the playoffs), which is why Mentone and Fury were still in A6 this season.

The Tighas are a good team (better than the regular season indicated) and you will score some upsets over the course of the season. If you get a jump on the offseason changes (custom D plays being the BIG one) you actually might do very well. Also keep in mind that many of the AA teams succeeded through I-Slam fever which is no longer going to be viable this season (at least not doing it 80% of the time). Its a whole new season and anything can happen. Just ask us (winning 4 playoff games despite only winning 2 or 3 in our previous 6 playoff appearances).
