Nothing. They'd have to lose twice, since they own the head-to-head tiebreak over Milano.

In a potential 3 team tie at the end Hague will eventually get the 1st as well, unless they lose by a bunch of points which I doubt could happen.

DD still have a chance to get up to the 3rd if they get the win tomorrow and Bocs lose on wk16.

Only thing left for the Scourge this season, is figuring out if we get our asses kicked by the Pirate, VCA, or Bocs.

One way or another we are in the playoffs and will be 1 and done.

Somebody needs to give the Scourge a point spread for the playoffs, so we can at least try to beat that.

That is an interesting question, maybe somebody here knows...

Generally when you lose by more than some unknowable "spread" inherent in GLB, team/player morale drops, stadium fan support may drop, etc (this was adjusted from absolute drops after season 3 as Bort & co realized that the "poor" were just getting "poorer" by losing unwinnable games). In other words, you will see a reflection that you should not have been beaten so badly if you know how to read the tea leaves.

Is that true for playoff games as well?

I have not seen any difference in fan support drops based on the score for the team I GM - we lose (or gain) the expected amount regardless of the score (just the W/L), as best as I can tell. If there's any losing spread, either we always cover it, or we never do, I guess.

I am suspecting that you are just always covering. I have seen it in the past, though it is usually pretty small movements on the fan support. You will see more on the team/player morale side if you really get mauled. I would like to say I have always covered too, but my first game DC did not work out (and Hague annihilated us beyond expectations), and my idiot OC (me) has cost me a few bad showings this season.

That was a big game to win! I am not too worried about the next game but I am sure it will be a good lead up for both teams going into the playoffs.

For my team we have come a long way from last season and will continue to get stronger. I am happu and now really looking forward to the first playoff game!

This is the update after today's games.

No big surprises except that the Bulls team got labeled by the Scourge and now they have fall to the 8th which will give them more than a headache for their 1st round matchup against Hague. Not long ago this guys where claiming to be on the top4, I'm just wondering what happened to them.

On the other hand, Dublin was able to steal the 4th place from Milano but the Italian guys will get his chance for revenge on their 1st round matchup, hoping to follow Hague last year path.

Week16 is going to be pretty boring despite what was much anticipated with the game between the Bocs and The Hague, as none of the teams will change their situation regardless of the score. That's also true for the rest of the playoff positions.

And playoffs seems like another cup of the same tea, with all hopes on 3 teams and Milano and Dublin a step behind waiting for their opportunity.

Btw, congrats to The Hague guys as they have had an incredible season and they deserve the #1. We'll see if they can keep the tag all the way till day 40.

The only good playoff game in the first round will probably be Milano vs Dublin. Gotta pull for Milano, just because Alyssa Milano is so damn hot!!! Although I am Irish so I really should be pulling for Dublin. Nope, my ding a ling wins. GO ALYSSA!!!

The other three games are going to pretty much gonna be ass whoopings. I know the Scourge are currently far more focused on our plans for next season, then we are about the playoffs this season.

Actually their is a chance for the VCA to take over the #1 seed.

The VCA will probably beat the Stallions and score the max 255 points in the process. If that happens and the Pirates lose and score less then 35 points (and should they lose it will probably be a low scoring game) then the VCA would be #1, Pirates #2, Bocs #3.
