here are the semi finalists for mvp for webbb8 this season. if you have a player on this list, please post the reasons why you think they deserve it. key stats in big games will be a big part of the measurement process.

(in no official order)

london's john dorian: he's got over 5800 yards, and leads the league with 104 tds to just 3 ints. he's the lone reason this team is 13-1.

irish's brady quinn: he leads the league with over 6000 yards thus far, and he's added 91 tds to just 4 ints. he's led the team to a 10-4 start. his chances may be hurt by the balanced attack.

uk's young montana: uk has several players on this list due to a balanced offensive attack. montana may not be their best candidate, but he has to be considered with 4800 yards, 82 tds, and only 2 ints. uk is 13-1 on the year.

switzerland's yi pa-ri: pari has over 4600 yards and 76 tds with a mere 3 ints. he's led his team to a 12-2 start.

hungary's the mississippi golden arm: he's also boasting over 4600 yards. he's added 61 tds with only 3 ints. he's gotten his team off to a 11-3 start.

aaa's robbie frey: he leads the league with 4400 yards on the ground to go along with 80 touchdowns and another 400+ yards receiving. aaa is off to a 10-4 start thanks to his play.

fluffy's rudolf virchow: he's got 2800 on the ground, but another 1000 recieving. pair that with 96 touchdowns, and you've got the main reason fluffy is 14-0.

irish's willie burden: he's got over 4200 on the ground and over 300 receiving. he's also got 93 tds, and the irish to a 10-4 start.

donegal's tratorzinho: the only entry for the other 14-0 team. he's got 3100 yards rushing and 200 receiving. he's crossed the goalline 61 times.

langen's matt saxon: with 94 receptions andover 1900 yards, matt saxon has put langen in good shape at 11-3. he's also added 38 tds.

global's pandoras box: box also has over 1900 yards, but on 128 catches. he's seen paydirt 27 times for the balanced global attack which has them sitting 11-3.

switzerland's bryant 'i poop on you' young: he's a ridiculous 82 hurries and 86 sacks on the year for the seagulls. he's also returned a fumble for a td this year.

uk's dont even try: this guy certainly has the best defensive statline. he's got 52 tackles, 130 passes defensed, 12 interceptions, 10 forced fumbles, and he's hit paydirt 6 times for the 13-1 uk team.

uk's flap jack daddy: he leads the league with 275 pancakes so far this year.

global's scruffy the janitor: he's got 258 pancakes thus far for the 11-3 terror.

example write-up:

pandoras box, global: he's tied for the league in catches, and he's within a hundred yards of the league leader in yardage. he's got 23 catches, 225 yards and 3 tds in the team's losses, which were the team's worst performances. he did help put up the most mosts allowed by the bunnies this season. he was huge in a key victory late in the season over irish, where he caught 17 passes for 193.5 yards. his best trait is that he always shows up. he's in the hunt for best wideout, but to be considered for mvp he'll need to finish the year very strong. receivers in general have a hard time winning this award. he's been crucial on big third downs, in big situations.

Nice write up. Glad to see I have a player on there. I would actually vote for dont even try, but if the rules state I have to vote for a player on this list then I will do so.

Young Montana, UK: I have the 2nd best QB rating in the league. 3rd in TD passes, 3rd in yds, and out of the 2 above me, I have the least attempts. Only thing I got on the 2 QB's above me is that we use a more balance attack then they do. While we have 2 RB's that have around 250 attempts for BOTH RB's while most teams have around that much for just 1 RB. I have lead my team to a 13-1 record which is 3rd or 4th best in the league however you wanna look at it Big games I guess this is whats gonna kill me is our only big game came against the Pirates in our only loss were I threw for 212 yds and 0 Td's with 1 Int. If you count the Niners, Huskies, and Hippos a big game, I threw for 975 Yds and 12 Td's and 0 Int. Dont know what else to say cause like I said Id rather vote for dont even try

It has to be Bryant "I Poop on you" Young. His sack and hurry numbers are astounding, and should warrant the MVP nod by themselves, but he has also missed only one tackle all year. With all of the great RBs in the league, that is an impressive statistic.

As the DC of the current #1 ranked pass defense and #1 rush defense in the league, I can say without question that he is the reason we have had our success. If he isn't getting to the QB, he is hurrying him into a bad throw.

I have seen plays where he has gotten a QB hurry, then had the speed to turn around and catch the HB for a loss on the screen pass.

I beg anyone to find a player who has impacted his team's performance more than this guy.

The fact that it was Sugar Foot, who is not exactly slow, makes it even better, regardless of his catching ability. Did you notice that Young fell down for a split second on that play too?

Oh but dont forget Bloody Mouth took down 2 O-Line, the NT covered the just one guy, and the other 2 O-line were running off, so yeah Thanks to Bloodymouth, Bryant looks like a hero again.....Its like giving a RB an mvp award when in reality it was the O-Line making him look good!

Young is a smooth player, no doubt and I'll give him his props for the amount of destruction he has done!!! I will just point out that he plays LDE and does not go up against LT's who get the protector bonus!! The opposite DE on their team is a level 40 and he doesn't have half that amount of sacks, so the LT bonus is worth something!

Lol they put 2-3 guys on my poor DE every game and he holds them....ALSO that Fumble Return came because BLOODYMOUTH forced the fumble. Not to mention in a clutch game Edwards won the game in the 4th quarter

In FG range
Hike
Bloody Mouth sacks the qb
Hike
Bloody Mouth sacks the qb
Hike
Bloody mouth sacks the qb

Out of FG range!!!!!!

(btw I vote for Bryant as mvp

Gotta sadly agree that Bryant 'i poop on you' Young has the most impressive numbers in the league and is probably the leagues MVP.

As for the rest I think the QBs all cancel each other out. Great years but nothing crazy impressive that catches your eye. A Bunnies QB could have easily been the talk here if I didn't run two QBs this season.

At RB I feel nothing comes close to my own teammate Rudolf Virchow. Why is he better than ROBBIE FREY? Here's why.....

1) Plays per game difference.........

ROBBIE FREY - 53.5
Rudolf Virchow - 32.8

This year the Bunnies defense and offense have been so impressive it has actually caused challenges with play time. Due to this the defense actually averages 50-60 plays a game awhile the offense averages 30 plays. Frey as you can see doesn't suffer from this aliment. So when we take a look at the numbers keep in mind Frey is almost playing twice as much as Virchow.

Total yards
---------------
Frey- 4852.5 total yards
Virchow- 3882.5 total yards

Rushing yards
--------------------
Frey- 357 attempts for 4,423.5
Virchow- 234 attempts for 2,846

Frey has 123 more attempts!!

Average run
----------------
Frey- 12.4
Virchow- 12.2

Pretty much rushing wise there both the same

Receiving
--------------
Frey- 429 yards
Virchow- 1,036.5

I believe Virchow is the only RB this season to have 1000 rushing yards and 1000 receiving yards.

Total TDs
-------------
Frey- 80 TDs
Virchow- 96 TDs

Frey is a great players but even with the extra play time Virchow still blows him away in the endzone.

And lastly!!! To me this is a big deal and thats the RB in support. AAA Huskies run a lvl 19 cpu RB as their backup for a whopping 650 yards. Pretty much they have one RB and one RB only.

The Bunnies have last years MVP candidate Crash McRumble splitting time with Virchow. McRumble has 2,132.5 rushing yards with 52 TDs in 230 plays. When you consider that McRumble and Virchow have only 107 more rushing plays then solo Frey it becomes even more obvious who the better RB is in season 8.

london's dorian is really the only qb that i think is worthy of mvp. he's got great numbers, and he's the reason they are 13-1.

that said, i'm still leaning toward uk's dont even try. this cat does it all. he's made tackles, he's got a ton of deflections. he picks off passes, he forces and recovers fumbles. he's scored 6 times on defense! i'm completely unbiased in this opinion.

i would take virchow over frey, but both have had great years. my two backs split time and it took both of them out of the running. sugar foot and joshua leroy i try to split as evenly as possible. they've both got impressive numbers, but force each other out of the race. virchow is close to being in that same category.

John "J.D." Dorian, QB - London American Werewolves
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=945172

The Werewolves were 5-11 last season without J Dorian, and will be 15-1 this season with him at the helm. He's the face of the franchise, and reason we're on the map. With a starting OLine averaging level 27, he's playing behind an over-matched line, facing constant pressure and still able to crank out the leagues highest passer rating (134.2 vs. 2nd place 128.3 for the 'sipp Golden Arm). His WRs average level is 26. Nothing's being handed to this guy on a platter, and he's flinging TDs all over the place.

In the team's only loss for the season, he lead an incredible 4th Qtr performance that saw the Werewolves pass for 2 TDs, the most allowed by the Bunnies all season.

With all due respect to Virchow, is he the reason for the Bunnies' success, or is simply that they severely outlevel the the entire league across the board and can pretty much do whatever they want? The suggested levels for WE BBB #8 are 18-31. The Bunnies have 22 players over level 31.

JD is more responsible for his team's success than any other player in the league.

I think Dorian is a great QB. Reminds me of Warren Planet. If you have a throw happy offense you can put numbers up like that. While as I stated in my first post, We have a more balanced offense where London has ONE RB with 267 carries, UK has 2 RB with around that many carries (240) & (263) So we run more of a balanced offense.

Since people are voting for others, I would vote for dont even try. His numbers for a CB are off the chart. Maybe not tackle wise, but who has a chance to get tackles when hes averaging almost 10 PD's a game. Not to mention his he has 12 Int's and 6 Td's. Thats crazy that every other Int he has he takes it to the house. I agree Bryant is a great defensive player, with excellent numbers, but with all his great numbers it seems like hes missing somthing NO FFUM!
