Warrior General Games

So it's up for grabs, and this is how I see it. Salerno wins and we're in. If we lose things get interesting since we'll all be 7-9. We beat the Hares, the Hares beat the Red Bulls, and the Red Bulls will have beaten us. Unless the tiebreak has changed then the team that has scored the most points over the course of the season goes. The Hares have scored 300 more than the Red Bulls and 538 more than Salerno (ouch). In spite of the fact I face Worms in the final game, I can't make up that many points. Both Madrids will lose their last games.

So if Salerno wins we're in. If we lose it's the Hares. I don't see any way the Red Bulls make it - feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Doesn't matter that much - the 8 seed gets Brussels in the playoffs. Barring the team owner allowing one of us access to their depth chart it will be very very ugly.

Wow - this makes the season interesting! I'll be looking forward to Thursday's and Saturday's results for sure.

Either way - all of these teams that are in the race have improved a ton! I'm impressed with the owners, and GMs of these teams. Great work! I'm excited to see the results of these teams next season - I hope the owner and GMs can keep these teams together ( lol shouldn't be hard for the teams made up with 1-2 agents owning all the players ).

oh - and would anybody like to post their predictions with the scores to these games? I would love to hear thoughts - trash talking? a little forum rivalry going...... huh... come on. I wanna see some fun in here!

Yeah - I'm not too worried about losing any of my squad in free agency

I'd be more inclined to talk smack if I was pretty sure I was gonna win. I will say this - I took my punter and kicker off the safety depth chart in recognition of the significance of this game. I'll be interested to see if I can slow down their passing attack more than I did in our scrimmage earlier this season - they throw the ball very well and are about average on the ground, so I can't ignore that altogether. My team is the quintessential slow-build team - soft-capping attributes with no investment whatsoever in other attributes until I've maxed one out - thus no stamina, not much tackling, no strength in key positions. I'll be at least a season before I'm competitive. I've just barely started on my AI too - so there may be some funny business there too.

It's hard to run too much smack when we're fighting for the top spot in the third tier in our league. I'll make my call though - Salerno 23, Madrid 21.

You must be crazy I got Madrid takng it 38-21!

I can definately relate to the slow build issue and I am sure that next year it will be completely different for both of us and it would surprise me immensely if we don't both get a relatively high playoff spot- Sorting out the stamina issue will always be a bitch in the "beginning" for the slow build team, but none the less I am looking forward to our clash in about 16 hours.

No, we can't compare ourselves to the top of this league at all, but hopefully next season or the one after, we can become competitive.

And I also agree that no matter how we cut it, we are out of the playoffs.... but we are still going for that win Nothing pesonal, but its just a little football integrity.

First quarter was going well until I couldn't convert on 4th and goal from the 0.5 yard line. I'm a little surprised you ran as much as you did, but it obviously got the job done. Hopefully in two seasons we'll be playing each other for home field advantage in the playoffs. Meanwhile - my whole team is going fishing in two days. Care to join us?

LOL, I wish I would've checked out some of their games before we played them, we would have definitely shut down that WR screen pass and we would have made the playoffs.

Unless the Red Bulls beat the Disciples or the three-way tiebreak has changed, you'll get your screens. The good news is that you'll only get it for one game...
