I'm really looking forward to this one. Powerbacks are out of control this season and Welter Payton is a man amongst boys in A #5. The Maulers might be the best managed team I've had the (mis)fortune of playing and are a very complete squad. Definitely an epic pairing between Manitoba's nasty Dline as they try to contain the league's leading rusher and runaway MVP.

I actually like Edmonton in this one just due to their ability to control the ball. I can't wait to watch this one later.

Edmonton outgains them by 60 yards and loses by 27.

Well done Maulers.

We had great field position all game hence the yardage disparity but, Edmonton's D is tough! It was tough to run on them. Well done Edmonton.

and thanks for the kind words Bleeds!

GGs to Moosejaw and Thunderchiefs.
Well played. Without knowing what else is coming in next season, it is hard to say where things will be but I would feel comfortable predicting you both in the 5th-9th ranked spots without upgrading. Pick up some levels and you should make some noise in the next level up as the really nasty teams up in AA move to AAA ball.

ajd is a class act within the Canadian league, like the rest of his team. Sometimes for scrimmages, coaches put in whomever, just for fun. But this match was like a real one, because we still have something to prove to the Maulers.

We had the yards, but you guys got the points, and points is what wins the game. We're still coming for ya soon.

As a side note, I think that Manitoba has one of the best front office's in the game. Their guys aren't insanely overleveled, but they still manage to win games. A testiment to their recruiting and building saavy.

Thanks again for the kind words! Last season in A5 was the most fun I have had in GLB. The forum is fantastic and cannot be duplicated. The forum in AA3 is not even close to what we had last season and what you guys have this season! Just a great group of owners/GM's and agents! Now hurry up and move up!

lmao

i'm just trying to duplicate those NFL type press conferences, where the coaches have a mouth full of chew, and are just cranking out compliment after compliment.

was hoping for closer score ... it sure is hard to pass on Manitoba Maul.

Its one thing in retrospect, wishing we played more on our strenths ... Its one thing to play and keep winning but until you lose its hard to refine the bad and soso stuff.

Now we know what to tweek.

We've had to learn to adapt to powerbacks as there are a few nasty ones up here...
