GG Bangkok, I'm still shocked at how you have stumbled this season after a great season 7.

Surprises:

Kamikaze losing to the Hokies! #1 Team goes down! GJ Hokies and nice run Kamikazes

Empy's Bucks over Bangalore! A must win game for Haiphong as they are clinging to a play-off spot while closing out the season against 2 top 5 teams. Good luck!

Captains dispatched Aggieland!

Predictions:

Vietnam over TC Williams

Bein Hoa over Wuhan

100/0
Kamikaze over Black Knights

Karawang over Hanoi

Hong Kong over Aggieland

Vanuatu over Shaolin

Sapporo over Karumai

Padang over Iggles

Hellfighters over Scranton

Hokies over the PP Kung Fu Pandas

Kathmandu over Gobi

Bangalore over the Shanghai Pirates

Patriots over Taipei Giant Pandas

PP Warriors over Danang

70/30
Davao over the Bucks

50/50
Sumatra over the Beatdown

Play-off Hunt:

Garuda in:
1-Karawang
2-Hong Kong
3-Padang
4-Hellfighters
5-Davao
6
7
8

3 of 4 likely in:
Bucks, Bangalore, Vietnam and Hanoi are all 8-6 and should fight for the last 3 play-off spots. Bucks hold all the head to head tie breakers, but face the toughest schedule against Padang and Davao. They can lose all their games as long as one of these other teams does as well. Vietnam and Hanoi both play the conference #1 Chimaeras so most likely they will go 1-1 at best. Bangalore and Hanoi play each other in week 16, if Bangalore wins they hold the head to head tie breakers over Hanoi AND Vietnam.

Snowballs chance in hell:

Bangkok needs so much help it could be impossible for them to make the play-offs. They need to go 2-0, Haiphong and one other 8-6 team must go 0-2 to trigger a 3 way tie based on split head to head records for the final spot and then they need to win on whatever the next tie breaker is. They also should hope Shanghai doesn't go 2-0 as they hold the tie breaker over them if they both get to 10-6. Good luck!

Shanghai Pirates have the easier route in terms of outside circumstances, but tougher based on opponents. They have to go 2-0 and need two of these three teams to go 0-2 to get in: Haiphong, Hanoi or Bangalore.

Everyone else in Garuda- start making your vacation plans now.

Naga in:

1-Kamikaze
2-Vanuatu
3-Sapporo
4-PP Kung Fu Pandas
5-Kathmandu
6-Hokies
7-
8-

Three 8-6 teams battle for 2 spots, Shaolin, Black Knights and Patriots.
Shaolin and Patriots have a head to head match. If Patriots win they are in as they will hold the tiebreaker over Black Knights and Shaolin. Black Knights hold the tie breaker over Shaolin. Shaolin faces Patriots then Vanuatu, very tough. Black Knights face Kamikaze and Bein Hoa. Patriots face Shaolin and Taipei. Whichever teams go 2-0 are in, if they go 1-1 with the Patriots beating Shaolin, Patriots and Black Knights are in. If they go 1-1 with Shaolin beating the Patriots, 3 way tie. Look for the Patriots to be in though, it will take an amazing effort for Shoalin to knock off both the Patriots AND then Vanuatu.

Everyone else in Naga-better luck next season.

Thanks for the breakdown. We'll be fighting as always and hoping for the best. We've never missed a playoff yet since the teams inception, and I sure as heck would like to make a statement first season in our new league and edge our way into the race.

No problem. You guys win out and you are in. FYI, you quoted the scenario for Bangkok Beatdown (I should have specified the team, but I did specify the conference), hopefully you saw the Black Knights scenario.

C'mon Hokies... Kathmandu is rooting for ya!! (a couple of wins by you guys gets us our 3rd seed back!), cause lets face it... we're finishing 2-0 (vs. The Dessert and Dead Birds)

No offense to those two teams.

We plan on winning out bc we will follow right behind your guys into the 4th seed to host a playoff game

GG to you guys to. I am also shocked at the way this season played out but you guys did us the huge favor of destroying our secondary so I can start looking to improve there.

Also now that my team is virtually eliminated I can say that I think the Garuda Conference championship will be Padang vs. Tokyo and the winner of that game will win the league.

The playoff races heating up, I love it. Garuda is a tough fucking conference this season, no doubt. I honestly don't see how anyone can pick any team but Karawang to win Garuda this season. I guess that just gives the rest of us that extra fire we need to go balls to the wall.

For the sake of my team, I hope you are wrong

Saying that, either Tokyo or Padang would be very worthy winners ...

Appreciate it bigtony however, I have seen some strange things happen in the playoffs before first goal is to go into the playoffs as first seed. If we win one of the last two games, we will have achieved that.

Let's hope that it wont happen this time! Agree on this being a tough conference, that's for sure.
