I started this thread to try and re-kindle the early pages of the USA A#1 League Thread....

i was wondering how other teams handle contract renegotiations. we have a thread stickied in the forums where players post when they need more money. is this common among the majority of teams?

Considering I am one of those "12 year olds" I will handle your question young pt.

Let me pull out my binder and pointer to let you in on how us children of the Orlando Pirates handle things. Notice the degree on the wall. Looks good doesnt it ? Anyways...


We keep it simple. We all take the same amount of money and try and stretch the years out as far as possible since we all know eachother. If a problem comes up where we need money for upgrading and whatnot we will do so with what budgets we have. Basically, the only thing we care about is if people need bonus' for these upgrades. Contracts are the last thing we care about, if you understand what im saying.

We share the wealth. As Buccs so aptly put, we know most of our team mates IRL. Other than that, as he said use the bonuses to buy equipment, other than that, keep salary decently low so you can get more seating.

most everyone is signed for a couple years. if they need cash for training or equipment they just pm Spar10sby13(owner) and they get a new deal...

uggh.. lvl 16 equipment is coming up though...

Buccs99 I could be wrong but I think you just complied with what redwolfe wanted. Answering a question respectfully helping out other teams. That's just one aspect of what is wanted but as long as no one goes on trash talking rampages, keyboard breaking comments and stupid childish insults, he'll probably be fine with you posting here.

I dont give a flying **** what he wants. He didnt pay money onto my team or have any reflection me joining this game. I have the right to have fun with it the way i want. Ill act the way I see fit and ill enjoy doing what im doing. If he doesnt like it he can just ignore me. I think this is the most childish thing done thus far. An "Adults Only" thing. It's rediculous.

Just a note: In the last 2 weeks of doing power rankings there has only been 6 "upsets". Meaning the power ranking scores have been 26-6 out of 32 games.

I dont see a problem with haveing a place for more serious discussions. Whats wrong with anything goes on on forum and being more civilized in another. Not everyone is into all the shenanigans.

I do not beleive I ever mentioned your name as being one of the children. As long as you continue to post like this, I have absolutly no problem with it on this thread. I am not your father, I am not a mod, I didnt pay you any money. You are free to do whatever you like. I only request that you allow us to do what we like without your interference. It is a simple request, you can obviously refuse if you like. "rediculous" as it may be, that is how some of us would like it. Please respect that, I do not think I am asking too much here guys.

On second thought, I will re-name the thread.

I would love for our team to if nothing else grab Home Team in the Playoffs, cause it's all about the money.

Considering how that thread was going, you didnt have to name names. But as you said, I have no problem following the thread at hand as stated, like I followed the other thread.
