Hey everyone! Sorry I missed week 13, but I was kinda busy Friday night. We have had some big games since my last predictions, so I figured I would shade week 14 towards how it matters in the playoff race. Enjoy!....... (or don't)

LION

Carthaginian War Elephants vs. Mikumi Black Bears
This one really shouldn't have any impact in the playoff standings. The CWE should win big. The Elephants do have 2 games remaining against playoff teams though, and if they shut it down too early could risk an upset. The Bears are safe from relegation, to fight again next season. If they make some changes this off season, they could take a big step forward next season. CWE 100-0

PTT Rebels vs. South African Bulls
PTT is on easy street for the next couple of games, before a week 16 showdown with the Black Mambas. With only a 1 game lead over the Voodoo, (who hold the tie breaker) they need to win out to ensure a top 2 seed in the playoffs. The Bulls had a big win over the Bears a couple of weeks back, and showed that with a few changes could turn a few heads next season. PTT wins here 125-10

Zulu Death Warriors vs. Morocco Loco Siroccos
The MLS fell out of the top 8 last week, with an 8 point loss to the Elephants. The Death Warriors should be their last test of the season, as they have the Bears and Hutu next. Will 9-7 be enough to make the playoffs? I don't know, but if they beat the Warriors, 10-6 will be a lock for the playoffs. The Warriors on the other hand are not only in the top 8, they are square in the middle of the home playoff game race. They are currently tied with the Voodoo for 3rd place, but play the Voodoo in the last game of the season. The Jackals are breathing down their neck, and hold the tie breaker, so the Warriors really want to win out. I think the Warriors win here, 32-28.

Ouagadougou Voodoo vs. Congo Lions
The Voodoo are thinking about a home playoff game, but they do have the Lions this week, and the Warriors in week 16. As I said with the Warriors, the Jackals are hot on their heels, and hold the tie breaker, so the Voodoo really need to win out if they want a home playoff game. I have a feeling that week 16 match up will be a battle! The Lions are on the outside looking in, but if they beat the Voodoo this week, will have a great shot at the playoffs. The Lions are a good team, but I don't think they beat the Voodoo this week, and will just miss the playoffs.... Watch our for them next season though! 38-24 Voodoo

Johannesburg Jackals vs. Dakar Demons
The Jackals are coming off of a important win over the Voodoo, and are looking to finish up the season strong, and catch either the Warriors or the Voodoo, for one of the top spots. Dakar, like the Lions, have a good team, but will probably just miss the playoffs this season. Dakar and the Lions actually play each other next week, and the winner of that will have some good bragging rights till next season. JJ wins here, 35-28

Madagascar Black Mambas vs. Uganda Stink Apes
This should be a great match up! The Mambas are currently 9-4 and looking very strong tied for 5th. They have a pretty tough remaining schedule though, with the Apes, Playmakers, and Rebels on the calender. They will make the playoffs, but any hopes of a home game are probably gone. The Stink Apes have won 4 of their last 5 games, after a slow start, and are currently in the 8th spot. They have the Mambas this week, and the Elephants next week, before ending with the Bears. I think the Apes need to take one of their next 2 games in order to be locked in to a playoff spot. If they lose both, they should end the season with 9 wins, and I don't know if that will be enough or not. (maybe another 9th place finish?) I think the Mambas win here, 32-30

K.C. PLAYMAKERS vs. Tijuana Thundercats
K.C. has an easy win this week, before ending with tough match ups against the Mambas, and Elephants. With 8 wins right now, the wost that they can finish with is that magic 9 win mark. They really want to win one of their last 2 games to ensure a playoff spot though, as the 9 win mark may be log jammed. 255-7 K.C.

Burundi Hutu vs. CPU
Burundi is well out of the playoff race, but look to have the beginnings of a solid team. I have a feeling that they will be a tough game next season. They win here, 120-0

ELEPHANT

Kickin Djibouti vs. CPU Hitmen
Kickin has a home playoff game locked up and are probably just biding their time until they play in AAA next season. They still don't have the #1 seed locked up though. (unless the T Cats lose today) Cruise control here, 255-0

Mozambique Thundercats vs. Swaziland Semnikati
The GOTW. The currently #2 Cats against the currently #3 Semnikati. This should be a great game. The TCats are coming off of a nice win against the Ratels, and are hoping to win out, and get the #1 seed. They could, however still drop down to 4th, if they lose against Swaziland this week, and Kickin in week 16. Swaziland is coming off of a commanding win over RUF, and are looking to build on that win this week against the TCats. They also have another tough game next week, against the Outlaws. If SS isn't careful, they could fall out of the top 4 over the last few weeks if they lose both of their big games. (MNR hold the tie breaker). Really tough call here, but after their big win over the Ratels, I have to go with the TCats to win. 40-30

Mogadishu Outlaws vs. Rhodesia Ratels
Another huge match up. The Outlaws are riding a 9 game winning streak, that has them currently in 4th place, and looking strong for a home playoff game. Their next 2 games are tough though, against the Ratels, and then Swaziland. They do hold the tie breaker over MNR though, so I believe they get a home playoff game even if they lose both. The Ratels have really come on after a rocky start, and look to be a pretty tough team now. They should be able to win their last 2 games, which means the worse they could finish is 8-8. That COULD be enough to get into the playoffs, but they probably need to win tomorrow to ensure a playoff spot. Another tough one to call, but I'm going to take the Outlaws 34-31

Mamelodi Night Runners vs. Asmara Freedom Fighters
MNR needs to take care of business, and get some help from some other teams, and they COULD still get a home playoff game. They have one of the easier schedules remaining, so it could happen. The AFF has been kind of up and down this season. They need to win out, to have a a chance at the playoffs. One more loss, and they will be on the outside looking in. I expect the AFF to pull out all the stops, and steal a win from the unsuspecting MNR. 30-28 AFF

Revolutionary United Front vs. Giza Gremlins
The RUF has looked pretty lack luster lately. I guess the owner is AWOL, which is sad to see. I hope everything works out for them. They will probably finish the season strong, with 2 out of 3 wins, and will make the playoffs with a 9-7 record. Giza is out of the playoff hunt, and need to make some off season changes if they want to challenge in season 9. RUF wins here 150-0

Coalville Colliers vs. Tanzanian Thunderhawks
Yet another good match up pits two 7-6 teams fighting for their playoff life together. TT has looked really good lately, coming off of an impressive win against MNR. Coalville has been consistent most of the season. Both want a playoff birth, and both hold their own destiny in their hands. This is another tough one to call, but I have to pick one. I'm putting my money on the Thunderhawks. They looked really good last week, and I think it carries over to this week. 36-28 T Hawks.

Congo Kongs vs. Shinra Soldiers
What a disappointing season for the Kongs. I'm not sure what happened, but I'm sure that 4-9 isn't where they expected to be after week #13. I expect them to right the ship this off season, and come back as strong as ever next season. At least I hope so. The Soldiers are just in over their head this season. They did beat the Death Tribe earlier, which means they will likely avoid relegation. Kongs win this battle. 42-20

Maasai Death Tribe vs. Senegal Slayers
The Death Tribe...... I guess A Wad just feels more comfortable in A? I don't know. They will win this game, and break out of the bottom 2, but only for one week, until the Soldiers play the Slayers next week. Death Tribe win this one. 240-0

Thundercats and Semnikati will be GOTW without a doubt though I see the score being in reverse with Swazi further
establishing themselves

You called this one!

GG MBM we needed that one though.

Looks like another 9th place finish again this year. Oh well.

unfortunately the RUF owner has had a few problems this season, but I'm back now.

We may have had a rough season so far but i GUARANTEE a win against the mighty Kickin Djibouti

If he's that intent of beating Djibouti, I'll bet he's doping with the performance-enhancing stuff. (No, I don't mean Viagra.....well...maybe...) But a GUARANTEE? Well, if we were to lose, I'd want it to be by RUF.

Good to see you back Maxx.
