Alpha:
#1. Williamsport Soul Reavers, Do you realize this team has only one loss and it was by 2 points? WSR is flat out a trophy contender in the Alpha conference. They still have to face Samoa before all is known, but WSR is a team to be impressed with.
#2. Guam Gorillas, They have to finish out with Easter Island and Darwin, other than that they shouldn't face another challenge. Guam has played great this season and is one of the teams that can be very scary.
#3. Samoa Piranha Monkeys, No doubt an unimpressive performance from the offense, but that defense is powerful. Samoa really needs to get it in gear, three of their last four are against Bay City, WSR, and Darwin.
#4. West Canaan Coyotes, No lies, the losses to WSR and Samoa have me wondering if these guys can win any medals in Alpha, but they I look at how they have only lost by a combined 10 points and I realize they can compete with anybody. The Coyotes have a few holes, but I feel confident this team will be one that is there to irritate everybody in the playoffs.
#5. Bay City Bohica, I have faith in Bay City, but that 52 point loss really hurts their ranking. Their next two games are against Samoa and WSR and will that be fun. If they can have two strong showings, and maybe a win, they can prove they belong with the elite.
Zeta:
#1. Florida Frenzy, They will get the #1 seed in Zeta and they are the favorite to not only win Zeta, but AA#2. Florida is one of those rare teams that can compete with any AAA team and a few Pro teams. I love these guys and what they do.
#2. Rapid City Rebels, They had a few things to prove going into that game, and they proved they can face the great teams, and beat the great teams. The Rebels are one of those teams that can really get after it on offense and defense, but no breather in sight, they have four very difficult games in sight.
#3. Sumatra Sea Hawks, I know this team is poised for great football at any time, but I just know they have to have something special planned for Rapid City. It is scary when a team's starting RB has 2,300+ rushing yards, and the starting QB has 3,500+ passing yards.
#4. Newcastle Ghosts, Surprisingly they don't drop, even with a loss. Newcastle has really done a good job this season, and if anybody thinks they are not a great team, think again. I know that one point loss was very tough to swallow for the Ghosts.
#5. Endzone Warriors, Welcome back to the rankings boys. The Warriors have put together a good season, and are a very good team. They don't have an easy game left, but I expect some big things from them in these last four weeks.
