Playmakers is still gone, (I think) so you guys are stuck with me again.
Last week I went 15-1. Shakes fist at the Black Mambas! This week I hope to improve on that mark! The playoffs are closing in fast, and the intensity is starting to heat up!
LION
PTT Rebels vs. Ouagadougou Voodoo
The Lion game of the week pits the current #1 seed against the current #3 seed. The Voodoo have a few hard games left on their schedule, starting with this one. They have got to be thinking home playoff game, but they definitely have their work cut out for them. PTT is thinking about the #1 seed going into the playoffs, but the Elephants are breathing down their neck. I think PTT wins here, 36-24.
Carthaginian War Elephants vs. Madagascar Black Mambas
Lion game of the week #2. The Black Mambas are coming off a hard fought win over the Morocco Loco Siroccos, and are looking to extend that success against the War Elephants. CWE just keep on winning, and hoping for a PTT stumble. I think the Elephants win here, 40-30.
Zulu Death Warriors vs. Congo Lions
The Death Warriors are coming off of two tough losses in a row, and are looking to rebound this week against the Congo Lions. The Lions have been kind of unpredictable this season. With a 2 point loss to the Elephants, and holding PTT to 19 points in another close loss, they have looked really good. But they also have some bad losses. I like the Lions a lot, but I think they lose here. 31-20 Warriors
Johannesburg Jackals vs. Burundi Hutu
The Hutu have enough wins to avoid relegation, and they will still get another one. But not this week. JJ wins
K.C. PLAYMAKERS vs. Dakar Demons
K.C. is clinging to one of the last playoff spots, and look to gain a little breathing room this week against Dakar. The Demons come into this game one game behind the Playmakers, and with a win would move that much closer to a playoff birth. K.C. wins this one 39-24
Morocco Loco Siroccos vs Atlantic Blue Jays
MLS get a nice win this week, after letting the Mambas ruin my predictions last week. Grrrrrr. Score: a lot to zero.
Uganda Stink Apes vs. South African Bulls
The Bulls are coming off of a nice win against the Bears, and the Apes won a close one against the Demons. Both would like to turn that win into a 2 game streak, but only one can do it...... Apes win 34-27
Tijuana Thundercats vs. Mikumi Black Bears
In this seasons relegation bowl, the winner of the game will stay in AA, and the loser will spend next season in A. I like DA BEARS in this one... who knows the score...
ELEPHANT
Kickin Djibouti vs. Swaziland Semnikati
The Elephant game of the week! Kickin had their closest game of the year last week, and maybe showing signs of vulnerability. Swaziland has had 2 gimme games in a row, and probably have been game planning for this game that entire time. In the end, I gotta go with Kickin 45-30
Mozambique Thundercats vs. Senegal Slayers
Not too much to say here. 255-0 Thundercats
Mogadishu Outlaws vs. Congo Kongs
The Outlaws have looked really good this season, and are trying to hang onto that last home playoff spot. The Kongs on the other hand have had a pretty down season, and are probably already thinking about how to get better next season. The Outlaws win here 42-17
Mamelodi Night Runners vs. Coalville Colliers
MNR is hot on the heels of Mogadishu for a home playoff game, but the Outlaws hold the tie breaker, so I don't know if they can. Coalville is currently in the 7th spot in the playoff picture, and would like to get this win, to widen the gap between them and the bottom half of the conference. Coalville wants to win, but MNR will win. 39-29 MNR
Revolutionary United Front vs. Rhodesia Ratels
Did anyone know that RUF is going to come out of nowhere to win the league? I heard that somewhere....... This is a very good match up here. After a horrid start, the Ratels have really come on. If the playoffs started today, they would be on the outside looking in. And with games coming up against the T-Cats, and Outlaws, they really need this win. The RUF have looked kind of up and down this season. Which RUF will show up for this game? I have no clue, but I'm going to pick Rhodesia in this one 37-33.
Tanzanian Thunderhawks vs. Shinra Soldiers
The Thunderhawks have a losing record, and are still currently in 8th place, and deep in the playoff hunt. Shinra have had a rough season, and it won't get any better here. T-Hawks win 41-20
Asmara Freedom Fighters vs. Maasai Death Tribe
The AFF have had kind of a disappointing season. They have had some very good games, and some not good games as well. Strangely, at 4-7 they are still not out of the playoff hunt, but need this win badly. Maasai have 2 wins, both against CPU's. AFF isn't CPU, so they win. 34-3
Giza Gremlins vs Toledo Hitmen
Giza are in the same boat as AFF, with 4 wins. However, their last 4 games of the season are against current top seeded teams. This will probably be their last win of the saeson. 100-0 Giza
Well, there we go everyone. Now would someone blast me, so we can wake this place up!!!
