I started this at the bginning of the season i haven't stopped people want me to seperate weeks so i did it now people are saying its not MVP people were giving just one person like we started now the people complaning are the ones saying the whole line or listing 5 or 6 players, if someone else want to do this go ahead it was working fine until a few Florida players complained that they don't have a player int top ten. Yes they are the best team but they had every chance top post week after week and they didn't it so if they want to complain they can do it.
Go back to the first week, everybody said this was agood idea so i kept up with it, I can stop it anytime, it was fun until people started whinning about my players from certain teams are better, its also the team they are on, a supporting cast will always prop your numbers up.
Feel free to reply to this some people ruin it for everyone else, i always gave a two game warning to post.

After eight weeks here is the list of all players and who is leading in votes for MVP. We will do this all season and i will post the results for MVP after the last game.

keep it going. You should have the winner of the game post ONE player only from the winning side. Florida players complained and then they nominated their whole O-line.

Just wait until the end of the season and everyone can kinda look back and see who the best players in the league are. Everyone can look at game performances and OTHER things to see who the best players at each position are.

Nobody ever said that this was the main way to judge who the best was. To me it was just something i thought was nice to keep the forums active and was good to see here.

Florida is destroying everyone basically but their lineup is insane compared to most teams here so its not a surprise. They obviously deserve to have some players on the list no matter if they voted for them or not so instead of just looking at it like that we can all discuss it at the end of the season.

Most teams are worried moreso with their opponent each week rather than anything else.

I like the thread and it keeps the forum active so im all for it. Without getting too "technical" we can look back on everything at the end of the season and come up with mvp's and/or a pro bowl roster which will def be nice to see.

You're doing a great job. Just keep up the good work. Don't worry about a few dissenting votes - can't please everyone.

BTW, EW is like FF, we're either too lazy or too darn lame for skipping our weekly top performers (though FF probably has a few more than us - BY a LONG SHOT).

No worries. Whatever format you feel works best for your schedule. Format/structure should be your call since you're doing all the work... for FREE!

It's a sad state of affairs for football when typically quiet, resolute working class O-linemen transform into Deion Sanders show-me-the-prime-time-money impersonators.

It was just me who said that, not everyone on the team. I just didn't want to put any one lineman above the others since we're all nameless hogs who just plow stuff for a living Besides, I also nominated the unit since it's too hard to make a case for, say, a guard versus a skill position player who puts up flashy stats like a QB, RB, or WR.

I think it is better to call this the "top weekly performer" award then have an MVP vote at the end of the season.

And I also agree to a degree with Seylan -- the O line really does make our run game what it is.

What difference does it make? Anyway, Bort will be giving out real MVP awards that will totally be based on an accurate ratings and formulas and will not ever have any bugs with it. It will be perfect.

Also, Sup Skywalker is the Alpha MVP, anyway, and I've only nominated him once from my own team.

To go along with Jaymans threads (which are great and you should keep doing.. some of my players just didn't understand about the nomination process) We should enlist the services of this guy, BobbyBlackk http://goallineblitz.com/game/home.pl?user_id=138009

He did a great job with a Pro Bowl type thing in OA3 last year

Example: http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=2029925

Umm, our offensive line is great? Some would argue it's the foundation on which our entire offense is built. Hell, I think pretty much our entire OL were voted in by our league as Pro Bowlers last year. Oh well, we don't live or die by MVP or Pro Bowl stuff. Well, at least I don't. So, vote and pick whomever you wish. But it's laughable you'll A) put one Florida guy on the list when we're on a 30 game winning streak, LMAO and B) deny the fact our offensive line is teh winz.

Dude was awesome last season but I think that I remember him saying that he would not be doing them anymore. It's a shame if that is the case.

This is what Jayman wrote on March 1st. You guys made a selection week one and then stopped. I didn't call your O-line out. Every owner has a chance to nominate a player of the game. It seems pretty clear to me.

I don't see why you can't nominate the entire offensive line for Game MVP, though. The Madden Horse trailer has seen many a "offensive lines" placed on it.

This is about having an active forum and good reading, that's it. If you want to nominate your offensive line, then do it. But this is one thing jayman is doing for the entire league to have fun with, it's not an official award, it doesn't matter in the end. Next season Florida will likely be in AAA, so what will it matter as far as this topic goes? None. It will matter none.

If you want to start your own MVP race thread with your rules, go for it. But I thinks it's time to stop shitting on a guy for injecting some life into our league.

Keep doing what your doing jayman, your idea, your thread, your rules.
