GG Hanoi, that was much closer than I would have liked, but we'll take the W!

Surprises:

Hokies beating Patriots, and by a large margin. Hokies asked for surprise recognition, I'm not surprised that they won as it was a 50/50 game, I'm surprised they dominated.

Vanuatu over PP KFP, after having a bunch of close games Vanuatu steps up to the challenge and blows out the Kunf Fu Pandas. I pick Van to win, but they wanted to make a statement and they did.

Gobi over Karumai- Karumai got to take the campus slut to prom, but at the end of the evening, he couldn't score. Good game Gobi, Karumai- ouch.

Kathmandu over Bein Hoa by 6? Kathmandu seems to be slipping going into the home stretch. Let's home they don't come up lame and have to be put down before the play-offs.

Beatdown over Aggieland- A week after losing a winnable game, Beatdown get serious for serious.

Pirates over Sumatra- I fully expected Sumatra to win, get their great secondary some help and look out.

Predictions:

Lots of even match-ups, great week of football!

The TE stat padding bowl:
Haiphong over TC Williams (This game couldn't have come at a better time for the reeling Bucks who play the toughest remaining schedule of anyone I have seen...after this game)

100/0
Tokyo Kamikaze over Karumai

Vanuatu over Sapporu (great game)

Kathmandu over PP Warriors (First half of season Kathmandu 100/0, if second half Kathmandu shows up 40/60)

Hokies crush Gobi's team record win streak at 1.

Black Knights over Shaolin (BK has some fight this half, should be a good game)

Holy shit, holy shit! I am picking Danang to win their 1st game of the season over the recently gutted and rebuilt Wuhan Wolverines who are in danger of making my dreaded shit list, can we get some comments from a Wuhan rep?

Phooeys over Shanghai

Hellfighters over Vietnam

Davao over Bangalore (looks like a great match on paper, but Davao should use their AA veteran knowledge to win handedly)

Beatdown roll the Iggles

Aggieland over Scranton

60/40
Bein Hoa over Taipei Giant Pandas (Another closely matched game)

Hanoi over Sumatra

50/50

Kung Fu Pandas over Patriots (flip a coin, they both got beat badly by teams I expected them to beat, but should be another great game)

Everybody Wang Dang Bowl:
Karawang over Padang (This is actually the game of the week no matter what I said above, #1 plays #2)

Not surprised Padang allowed a few completions against T.C.? I know I was. I'm assuming the sim still "cruise controls" still.

I'm not surprised you shut out TC and scored over 230 points, no. Weathermen predict when it is going to rain, not how many individual drops fall, like the weathermen, I care only of the big picture.

Allright I figure we can win our next two and this season it will come down to the fact that we will have to beat either tokyo or hong kong to make the playoffs.

I like the idea of the TE stat padding bowl. When you think that we havent played the Titans yet and have the passing and receiving leaders two of our guys are pretty much guaranteed trophies this offseason.

Then again maybe Ill just run the whole game and get my HB some love....

If this is supposed to be a great game, shouldn't you be not so sure of the outcome? And I thought we had these spelling issues resolved?

If I had told you the Steelers were 100/0 going to beat Arizona in the Super Bowl, but that it would be a good, close game, would that have diminished your enjoyment of the game? I think this game has many opportunities to be close, but that said, I have plugged your teams into my super computer and each of the 100 simulated games run have yielded a victory for Vanuatu, thus giving Vanuatu a 100 percent chance of victory. Plus I just really think they are going to win.

It costs an extra $5 a month to spell check team names outside of the top 4 in the league which are spell checked for free. In this climate of economic uncertainty I cannot justify passing up one good, grande Mocha Latte with an extra shot so that you have your team name spelled correctly.

I think we are severely underrated right now. We had 25 fumbles in our first 5 games, so that killed us early. We've figured out our fumbling problem, but, now we are a bit behind the 8-ball with our record. You guys have a great team, and it was a helluva defensive struggle. Good luck the rest of the season, and I hope we get to see you again in the playoffs.

it was a close game. our QB played like shit, no doubt about it, which is a mix of a QB playing like shit and the opposing team playing some good D,

Great matchup on paper yea right. If its such a good matchup you wouldn't have picked them handily.

We have some chemistry issues right now, which I hope is what's causing these issues. We are trying to make adjustments to compensate for this unexpected situation, but... well, easier said than done.

Hopefully we'll be able to still handle Vanuatu - A good rivalry from the old "A-7" days.
