Warrior General Games

I am without words on how this game blows this season. I never dreamed I needed a Powerback to run 100% to win games. Passing sucks so bad how in the hell does my Team QB Drew Seabass who led APL last season with nearly 7000 yards in passing barely has over 2000 after game #10. That's a serious fucking nerf. Most of the team has lost heart in this game and just don't give a shit anymore about the game. And without us having a top notch Powerback there is no way to compete. Therefore I've already PM'ed administration and have asked for us to be relegated to the bottom "A" league next season so we can start over. We already have the future KNR v2.0 Cooking on my Pee Wee team. I can see why it would be so easy to just quit and sell the team but I won't and we will finish this season here but the fire is out in our desire to compete in this league.

We really wanted to compete in this league at a high level and Passing has long been a big part of our game plan. Without it we are nothing. If I had known passing would've taken a large hit like it would then obviously I would have recruited a lot differently. Instead I went out and brought in two real good WR's and found an excellent pass blocking OT. I feel like I've got robbed of any chance to compete. Thanks Bort. I do know if this game continues on this same path I will be leaving it all together. KNR is going to rebuild and make another run in Africa for the next several seasons and hopefully we can one day work our way back up here again.

I know some of the players on the team would like to remain in APL, they all will be Free Agents at the end of the season, I will not be a shitty owner and gut the team or trade everyone for max cash. They all will have their own decisions to make. I appreciate if some of you have a home that you contact the Agent or me about possibly playing for your team next season. It sucks to be going this route considering how hard we worked to get here. But I'm not wasting time when I can be building another team that will be better in a few seasons than this one.

I understand Bengal. We have a power back, but I honestly hate it when teams can just set up and run the ball all 4 downs all game long. I think that it's better when teams have to play more balanced as it actually forces you to do some game planning. Right now, there's not much game planning that goes on. It's run the ball every time if you want to win, and I'm fighting that.

Hey, look at my QB and the numbers he put up in his previous 3 seasons and compare those to this season....I feel your pain!

You should never be forced to be a power rushing team to be successful. Unfortunately this season that is pretty much what you are reduced to.

One of the best parts of the game to me was how people used to customize their offenses. You had some who spread it out and chucked it all over the place, some who lined it up and ran at you. Now, you can't be a pass first team.....or even really a rushing team if you only have elusive backs.

Does suck. Season 6 was about the best the sim ever was IMO.

Tell me about it. Believe me ....we will be back one day. This time we will be covered with Powerbacks, Rushing QB's you name it. We have every exploit covered this time around. And the best part....no more recruiting. Damn that was getting old. Good luck to you all of you.

That's the thing. We have always had two Elusive backs and have competed just fine. Hell, we had a RB that had 118 in speed and 80 in agility and he couldn't do any good. I traded him off here a few days ago and we got a lower level powerback that is still a season or two away from being really good and a Combo back that we transformed from an elusive. It's flat out bullshit if you ask me. Season 8 is a complete nightmare and will go down in my book as the worst in GLB history. We were that team of being a Pass and Elusive Rushing style.

There is no point in scouting, game planning, or having any kind of offensive variety at all.

To be honest, I really don’t even know what will happen to the Spider Monkeez after this season either. I always said I would never sell my team, but now I just don’t know anymore. The game is no fun for me as it is right now & I don’t blame you at all for starting over. Good luck man!!

Sad times in GLB these are. I'm actually a HUGE fan of the running game, especially the power running game. I grew up as a Husker fan and thoroughly enjoyed watching us ram the ball down the opponents throat for 400 yards while passing for 50. Most people think that is boring football, I think that is great football. That being said, this is a joke. I've felt we've had somewhat of an edge in the past cuz teams weren't used to defending a power running game cuz most didn't do it. We also were built more towards power running. But now all that is gone, everyone does that GP and most are figuring out how to defend it.

Hopefully, S9 will be better. If not, it is definitely not worth the time or the money....

I don't understand how some people don't see that GLB is taking a nose dive fast.

So many teams packing up and going home its crazy, if i was Bort I'd do something ASAP to fix the issue.

The sad thing is, those teams that are packing it in now have actually been very patient with the game - it's been going downhill for a while now.

I never thought I'd sell my team, but this season was just so over the top ridiculous I didn't want to be a part of it anymore.

Sorry to see you go KNR. You guys were a very good team! As a corner back, I hated going up against your team every season, and typically our games were always incredibly close. I'll miss the exciting matchups!
