Well, blame Zelda for the lateness of this week's preview, some five hours before the games sim. I fully intended to only play Nintendo for an hour or two, then post, but what can I say? When Hyrule needs saving, Link must answer the call. Kinda sad, it's one of the same reasons I never went to college

Macedonian Lions vs Czechoslavakia Mates: After getting shut down by the Butchers last week, the Lions face another challenge in Czechoslavakia. The Mates suffered greatly at the hands of the Hounds last week, and desperately need to win this game to stay in contention. A loss would allow the Dragons or Elk an opportunity to sneak above them and pick up that last playoff spot. With both the Elk and the Wombats remaining on their schedule, they can't afford a loss, but they are going to have one. The Lions' defense will prove too strong for the Mates, and their offense will be able to produce enough points against Czechoslavakia to insure they go home with a win.

Mombasa Wombats vs WhatsaMatta U Fighting Elk: At 5-5, the Elk still have a fighting chance to make it into the playoffs, but it sure looks like a tough row to hoe. First things first, they have to find a way to stop a Wombats team that has been flying pretty low under the radar while holding onto a middle playoff spot. Both teams still must face some of their toughest competition later in the season, but for now are in control of their own playoff destiny. The Wombats look tougher and have so far played better than the Elk, so they shouldn't have too much trouble with this game, keeping them in contention for a while longer.

Bratislava Butchers vs Secretville Offtopics: The season 7 EEA4 Zeta Conference Championship rematch will look nothing like its predecessor. While the Butchers look on pace to have another good season, the Offtopics are already out of the picture. This was a game that looked great on the schedule, but it soon became obvious that Secretville would sacrifice this season to the football gods and build for next season. The Butchers will handle the Offtopics with ease and continue to fight for a high playoff seed.

Kazakhstan Dragons vs Maribor Triforce: Both of these teams are better than their records indicate, but have had no success against stronger oppenents. Against each other, things look a little different, and this should play out to be a pretty interesting game. Kazakhstan holds a one game advantage in record mostly due to their surprise defeat of the Mates, but otherwise neither team has beaten anyone of consequence. In most ways they are pretty evenly matched, but the Dragons have slightly better personnel, and should come away with the win.

Hill Valley Deloreans vs Prague Beersteins; South City Chiefs vs Cypriot Freedom; Warsaw Wolfpack vs Maladorous Football Beavers: The outcomes of these games should be obvious to anyone by now, and since it is very late, I see no need to beat these dead horses. The Deloreans, Chiefs, and Wolfpack all get to add one to the win column.

Zeta Conference Game of the Week - Berlin Hounds from Hell vs Jefferson City Bucks: For the third week in a row, the Hounds must fight off a top contender if they want to stay undefeated. Unfortunately for the Bucks, they still shouldn't have too much trouble pulling off the win, despite the close games that a few other opponents have given them. The defeat will drop the Bucks below the Butchers in the standings due to their loss to Bratislava earlier in the season. Once again the Hounds will throw the standings out of whack.

After this week, we should be able to start mathematically eliminating a few teams, although obviously the Beavers and Freedom, as well as the Wolfpack and Offtopics, can already be counted out. Better luck next season, fellas.
