GAME OF THE WEEK
Miami Makos v Miami Hammerheads
There are three fine games this week which are game of the week material, but I kinda like this one. Another of those rivalry games, last's year matchup was a battle royal, with the Makos coming out on top by a TD. Last year's yardage totals between the two: 286 to 286.5. Ya, that close. This should be equally as good. This time I am going with the "home team". Hammerheads 17, Makos 10.
OTHER GAMES:
Montana Grizzlies v Houghton Gremlins
Montana is just dancing their way through the schedule so far, but this could be their toughest test yet. Houghton is now a desperate team as they can't afford to lose again and still have a good shot at a home playoff game, though still possible. Houghton actually matches up reasonably well with Montana talent-wise, but I think Montana will be able to run just enough. They will know fear for the first time this season. Montana 24, Houghton 17.
Red River Chiefs v Maine Hawks
This is a rivalry game extraordinaire dating back to Season 2. Maine managed to cock-punch RR last season, but I tell you this RR team really as it together this time around. Maine has struggled somewhat. Will the RR vengeance tour continue? Beware homer content: Maine 28, Red River 21.
Atlanta Wolves v Da NOLA Brah!!! K&B Purples
One of those get well games for Atlanta to make sure they stay ahead of rival VC in the standings. Atlanta 67, Da NOLA 3.
Vice City v Pittsburgh Powerhouse
VC keeps pace with Atlanta. Vice City 52, Pittsburgh 17.
New Orleans Poison v Dakota Bison
Bison, the other white meat. New Orleans 160, Dakota 0.
Bowdoin Polar Bears v Buffalo Beasts
This is the game where we find out if I have given Buffalo too much credit and Bowdoin not enough credit. I don't think so. Buffalo 35, Bowdoin 21.
Manhattan Massacre v Destin Pigskin Pimps
Let the Massacre Begin. Manhattan 100, Destin 0.
