I know everyone's outlook on special teams - its boring, the stats are meaningless, and no one likes to watch replays of their players making special teams tackles.
But lets face it - special teams is a huge part of the game now. Without proper coverage, good teams can give up return TDs easily. I've lost one game this season due almost entirely to special teams botched coverages, and I don't want that to be a factor for me next season.
I'm looking for 4-5 players next season who will play both sides of special teams. This would give you 20+ plays a game for max exp. Our team is extremely solid on both sides of the ball, and 90% of the team was slow built with specific builds in mind. Our stadium is going well and covering equipment won't be much of an issue for us as we move into the future.
I'm looking for players in the upper 20s and higher, with good mixtures of strength, agility, speed, and vision. High tackling isn't a huge deal if we can get more people to the point of attack, and shed blocks without being pancaked. Let me know if you'd like to commit to a winner next season and bolster our special teams play. It might be inglorious, but the trophy makes it all worth it
