Hrm. Okay. I've seen a few plays like this, with the LG here... it almost seems like he's distracted or forgets what he's doing. Either that, or the DT is faking him out or something, since it doesn't appear he ever touches him. He's got a little above double capped agility and he's first capped Vision.

Weird, what is your speed at? If you misread the play (ROLB blitz?) then maybe it was just a mobility issue getting back into position fast enough.

Looks like he was keying on the ROLB for some strange reason. There is a thread in the bugs forum complaining of the same thing happening to several other LG's.

Yeah. I just saw that. I could understand if he misread or a LB was coming in to take him out, but the other one makes me wonder if it's something else.

There was also a thread on DT's and the shed block ability having no counter. This doesn't really look like he shed a block though, just more of a quick first step/high agility type of rush.

Eh. It looks more like the guard just kinda...dropped back to block, and then the DT just went right past him in a straight line. Didn't seem like he sped up or accelerated. More like the Guard stepped back to guard the pocket, then forgot he was supposed to block someone.

The DT is 4 levels higher. I bet he has a high agility build.

Where's your pass block SA at?

Right now, it's only at around 4. I just started to put points towards SAs a few levels ago once I got his strength/blocking/agi/speed, etc. up fairly high, though I do have an AEQ for him of that that I'm now building up, should probably get it up +3. I can understand him getting beat or the DT getting around him. It just seems rather strange that he just stands there, though.

Maybe low blocking?

(Some guys even have it at 70!)

Ahh. I see it in the Live Issues forum, now. Well... at least it's not JUST that my guard is a complete retard.

it looks kinda like he is expecting the center to [ick him up if he goes inside. Some of the GLB blocking schemes do not make sense.
