I thought I would just throw this out there and get some dialogue going.
Anonymous Assassins vs. B.C. Assassins
The Assassins have been OK this year - winning the games they should win but falling short against the elite teams. They will find it easy going this week and move to 6-3 with a big win against B.C.
French Lick Dirty Whorns vs. Trinsic Purple Dragons
Much like the Assassins the Purple Dragons have won the games they should win but have not been able to play competitive football against the better teams in the East. They will move over the .500 mark this week and move to 5-4 against an outmatched Dirty Whorns team.
Kentucky Jaguars CPU vs. Tri-Cities Fever
Tri-Cities gets a 255-0 victory and moves to 5-4 and prepares for a big showdown with the Assassins next week.
Colonial Zoners vs. Richmond Retros
This should be a real good game between 2 teams that can put points up on the scoreboard. The Retros will try and throw the ball as much as they can where the Zoners will probably mix it up a bit more. Given we (The Demons) have played both teams - I am going with the Zoners in this one. I think their defense will make a few more plays than the Retros. Should be a fun one to watch.
Las Vegas Wildcats vs. Fort Worth Warriors
Fort Worth comes off a big win against Richmond and Las Vegas has been solid all season long and one of the bigger surprises in the East. From what I have seen, Las Vegas wins this game and moves to 6-3 and inches closer and closer to a playoff birth in the East.
Seattle Reign vs. Bortsville Mystery Nerf
Bortsville will take out their frustrations after a tough loss to SF on the reign and beat them badly.
San Francisco Demons vs. Bristol Bullets
Very good game here. Bristol is always so close but they seem to collapse more often than not in the 4thQ. The have a potent offense that can score so SF will not be looking ahead in this one. This game will be close at the Half but I see SF's depth taking over and keeping them undefeated.
New York Warriors vs. Megatropolis Tigers
Wow - here we go - Game of the Week. I am very interested to see how this one plays out. NY outside of a loss to SF has been playing terrific football on both sides of the ball. Mega does not disguise anything - stop our running game and you will most likely beat us, but what gets overlooked is how well their defense has been playing. Man this is a tough one but I think that NY has better balance and can slow the Mega running game up just enough to squeak out a victory here.
