GG Haiphong, nice win! The good news is the Hellfighters have played all the good teams and on paper have a cake schedule from here on out whereas all the teams above us still have games against top 6 teams.

Surprises:

Vietnam erupted over Aggieland with an ass whooping. Aggieland has done a remarkable job on defense all year, keeping scores low and close, but not in this game. Is Vietnam starting to feel the pressure of missing out on the play-offs and thus are stepping up with their underachieving team?

Scranton beating the Shanghai Pirates. If Scranton beats Hanoi this week, they could make a serious push for the 8th seed as the Hellfighters are the only playoff caliber team they play the rest of the season.

Bucks over Hellfighters. Bucks needing to get back on track after losing to Scranton and the Hellfighters wanting a win against the toughest of their remaining opponents. Haiphong took care of business.

Week 10 Predictions (and this gets a bit dicey as some teams are in the home stretch and can get cocky, look for upsets as some good teams quit game planning as they are assured a play-off spot with minimal effort):

Bangkok should be a pushover for you guys as they aren't a contender, Kung Fu Pandas are a second tier team with Sapporo and Kathmandu in your conference, but you guys are first tier so you really shouldn't lose.

Your right, we shouldnt, but with things changing in the sim, anything can really happen. Just hope all these changes are settled by the time we get to those games

To be honest when you guys got that 50 yard TD in the second quarter I stopped watching the play by play and went straight to see how badly we had gotten our asses caned. Anyway well played. Im pretty ecstatic about how well our D played in the second half as it looked untouchable until the last play of the game.

Youre right though you guys have an easy run in. We still have a tough road but with todays win were right back in the hunt for a home playoff game.

GG Hong Kong, that was a pretty solid beating, that two headed monster in the backfield destroyed us.

Lol, the 2nd and 3rd quarter were weird. We had 3 TD passes in the 2nd quarter, you guys came back with 3 TD passes in the 3rd and then the 4th didn't have the offensive explosions.

I hope someone figures out how to stop your TE.

Yeah, Im happy as hell we got our toughest games out of the way 1st thing this season, made our team stats low, but now we can play catch up with the rest of the league

I could stop him. Im not going to tell you how exactly but it would involve my own LB playing LOLB instead of ROLB and then another tactical thing that wont have occurred to any of you (its REALLY obscure).

In addition if we lose more then 2 games I would like you to rename our column Beating of The Beatdown right next to Running of The Titans.

Looking at your schedule I'm not sure you guys will win 5 more games. Scranton has been playing well lately, Vietnam may or may not show up, Aggieland has been fairly scrappy and then you close out with the Phooeys, Hellfighters and Sumatra all of which I would pick to beat you based on what each team has shown so far.

I know its a far stretch, but it would be cool to see a same city championship game. As in Bangkok vs Bangkok, or Tokyo vs Tokyo. Its a stretch, and its more likely to be the 2 Tokyo teams to do it. Not that the Bangkoks dont have a shot, but they both have to play flawless football, especially the Beatdown, they have the tougher conference of the 2.

I would choose most of them right now as well. I am not lying we have played like shit. That said we are going to turn it around. We both know that the Beatdown how the talent but have been lacking in gameplans. I think I took it way to easy early on because we were coming off of a 13-3 season in this league and I thought I would just gameplan for 2 or 3 games.
