Well, we all wanted it and now we got it:

The 10-0 Windsor Warriors go into Oklahoma to face the 10-0 Thunderstorm

The 10-0 Lincoln Navigators play host to the 10-0 Golden State Gorillas

This is going to be a fantastic day in our league. Choctaw gave up 22 to OKC at home while giving up 23 to Windsor on the road. We scored 7 at home against OKC while we were held to a FG at Windsor. The Windsor game was turnover city for both teams while OKC held us off the field. BTW-Bomber enjoy the crackers with your Gazpacho..lol

I think the Navigators have a slight edge over the Gorillas and OKC has a slight edge over Windsor.

The teams are so close, it will come down to some random event to determine the winners.

I am willing to make a CUT bet with anyone on the Windsor squad. If Windsor wins, Willy Banger gets cut. If OKC wins...? Sure, you can resign with the team - after 10 days.

Who has the cajonies to take me up on a bet like that? I know the Bomber doesn't.

I think the bomber does because he can resign himself.

Bold statement from somebody who's not a GM, and there's really no way to enforce it anyways.

I can get my GM to approve. And the enforceability is why it's a gentleman's bet. If the loser doesn't live up to his end like a coward, he will be called out on it and mocked mercilessly. Frankly, I'm too proud to welch on a bet.

Of course, I never expected you to accept. Maybe someone with uh... well let's just say larger marbles will accept?

This will be a tough game for GSG. Most of our schedule, so far, has been against the quality opponents of the conference, culminating with the game of the year in the West.

I haven't checked if the teams we play over the remainder of the schedule have upgraded much in the last few weeks, but it will be kind of nice to have some easier games.

Honestly? A starting QB who plays every snap is worth WAY more to a team than any WR, even if they are both level 16.

If you (or anyone else) honestly thought this was in any way a fair proposition, then you're smoking crack...The only way this could work is if the game was expected to be completely lopside in favor of the QB's team, which it's not, it should be a pretty damn good game.
