Ahhh, the midpoint of the season upon us. Most of the top teams playing the bottom teams outside of one game. So here we go.
Ill start at the top with
"Game of the week"
Cobden vs PM
By the bars this game is a dead heat with possibly a slight favor over to Cobden. Cobden faces the #3 rush offense and second leading rusher in the conference. In the two losses and the win over GCMM, Cobden gave up more yards on the ground than they would probably like. They play tough pass defense but will have their hands full with the run.PM coming off a head scratching win over Telstar. Telstar was with PM until the 4th quarter so either PM screwed up the gameplanning or Rev has it in the right direction. I think its more that Rev has turned Telstar in the right direction. PM relies on the run, but, can pass very efficiently when the need arises. PM has been in AA a season longer and thus far, the A league upstarts new to AA have had a difficult time with AA vets. Cobden needs this game after a loss to Bendigo and a game with the Danes coming up. But, PM needs this to remain tied with the Danes up top. I just dont think Cobden has the stuff to beat one of the AA vets just yet. PM gets the run game going and controls the clock winning late in the game.

Bendigo vs Aussies
Hasnt been a fun season for the Aussies and Bendigo is hot off their win over Cobden. Wont even be close.

GCMM wants this win after a tough loss to Taylor and gets what they need

Trilla is rolling along after the lone early season loss and they continue to roll here.

The Danes vs Telstar
After thrashing the Knights, undefeated Danish sets their attention on Telstar. But, this Telstar team si improving and the Danes get all they want and more from Rev.
The " Much Much Better" Game
Norfolk vs Suva
After two straight losses to league leaders PM & The Danes, Norfolk gets league doormat Suva and wipes their feet on it plenty.
The " Can we catch them napping" game
Shrooms vs Taylor
Fresh off the dominating win over GCMM, the Shrooms hope to catch the Dawgs looking ahead to Bendigo. Shrooms trying to stay in the playoff hunt, but, these dawgs do hunt and they hunt Shrooms. Game is over early and Taylor cruises.
The " Wait, this is a game of the week too" Game
McNuggets vs Siracusa
After a long season already and a early season schedule noone would want, Siracusa is still in the playoff chase and can knock off a team in front of them. McNuggets have to get this one to stay ahead and not fall behind in the tie breaker. Siracusa gameplans way to well and wins this one.
