Interesting that Sting beat a common opponent by 27 more points than the Frogs and are still ranked lower. Must be that 1st inter division game they played (144-0 vs our 90-6) that is giving them the edge here. We haven't scored less than 54 points this season. (good job monkeys ).

Not that any of this matters much, but it is fun to try and figure the nonsese out...

Who's defense is up to the task of trying to stop out offense now!

Always willing to provide clarity to the rankings.

Looking at the stats the Frogs, the Sting and the Samurai Flip Flop on a lot of categories and are virtually even across the board. The category that hurts the Sting is a portion of the special teams category specifically in Punting. The category that causes the Samurai to be ranked lower than the Frogs is also a portion of offensive category, and special teams again. They excel in enough of the other areas, that for some strange reason both the teams ended in a tie for points. No Tie Breaker since they haven't played each other yet.

SOS for all three teams is nearly identical. Sting has the worst opponent winning pct. to date (25 wins); the Frogs (26 wins); Samurai (28 Wins), pretty much even at this point in the season. All three teams are merely separated by a few points.

Komodo in the other league, their opponent win total is at 17, less than all three of ours, but statistically they're crushing their opponents and they should be. If the three of us continue on this path, the conference balancing could place Komodo somewhere in between the three of us as we continue through the season. We've all continue to gain ground on them and the gap continues to narrow.

Power Rankings obviously don't account for the superior minds of all of these teams, which has some impact on the outcome of the games.

This Always makes for a debatable topic and keeps the forum active, that's why I do it.

Thanks for the clarification. I guess I need to give my punter a pep talk...

Too bad the stats on special teams are not very detailed. It doesn't show the 13 turnovers that we have forced in 8 games just on special teams.
