I got 75% right last week, which was good enough to encourage me to do this again. A lot of close games this week, as a lot of teams are paired up against the team ranked right above or below them.
Riverhead Blue Waves @ Houston Cougars incorrect
One of these teams loses their undefeated status this week. Prior to week 6, I would have said Houston without blinking, but Riverhead surprised me last week and now I'm not so sure. Still, Houston looks like the better choice.
CPU Paper Tigers @ Auckland Raiders correct
Gotta stick with my own team, and hope this isn't the week Auckland get's their lucky break.
Lynchburg Lightning @ San Antonio Heat correct
On paper it should be Lynchburg, but after last week's performances, my gut says it's the Heat. Maybe it's just my heartburn talking, either way, this will be a game to watch.
Farkistan Squirrels @ Mudville Bombers correct
The Squirrels lost last weeks game so badly because they kept letting Big Whiskey get into field goal range. Mudville has a better offense and kicker than Big Whiskey, and I expect a repeat performance. The Squirrel's only chance is to lay off the Vicoden this week.
Gotham Crusaders @ Columbas South Caralackys correct
Gotham's losing streak will not be ending this week, particularly since Columbus can still put up a fight for a play off spot.
Austin Alcoholics @ Big Whiskey Assassins correct
When Whiskey and Alcoholics mix, it's usually the Alcoholics who lose. That should be true this week as well.
Inya Onya @ Lexington Lynx correct
What's there to say?
Austin Wineswilling Fancy Boys @ Chicago Whodats correct
One of these teams will end their long running losing streak this week. This is going to be an ugly game all around, but despite their record, I think this will be the week for those Wineswilling Fancy Boys to actually have a reason to swill their fancy wine.
EDIT: Much better this week - only missed the Riverhead one. Shall not under estimate them again.
