There are many teams with stadiums far smaller than their peers. I wonder what effect this will have on your teams.

In order to compete, you must put out a ton of money that you just don't have. Then, you have to put up level 32 money and level 40 money that you just don't have.

Will everyone make it?

There are alot in the Easter Conference whose stadiums scare me for their rosters, I cant begin to imagine the equipment scenarios.

A couple of seasons back, our team faced that grim reality. We did what we had to do to turn that around, but it was painful. Successful, but painful.

We're in that situation now. I've tried to manage moneys carefully, but one crap, first year where I had no idea what I was doing and wasted all our money cost us dearly. Since then I've got alot better, but our stadium is well behind where it should be, and EQ fund is hurting.

IMO this is where you need agents that are willing to wait on EQ upgrades to help build up the stadium. As Nola stated, we went through the money problems...it sucked!

The Catsharks made a point of putting stadium first, finished it in 3 seasons. It's one of the most important things for a team, but many owners overlook it.

Let me set one thing straight. I am not here to gloat. I want to see even, fair, and fun competition between the teams here. I don't like seeing teams collapse because it throws leagues into imbalance. I just want teams to be aware of what they will need to do to finish the season. We could theoretically see 5 teams go bankrupt before the end of the season.

Okay, I just looked through all of the east.

It appears that many of you will not finish the season without having to dump players for cash. All that you will end up doing is making strong teams stronger and set yourself back a season or two.

The Great:
Catsharks 21.0 million
Les Gaulois 14.98 million
Hawaiian Punch 10.59 million

The OK:
Machine 5.21 million
Pioneers 4.51 million
Mustangs 4.45 million
Bullpups 4.21 million
Chronic 3.99 million
Ice Hawks 3.87 million
Bandits 3.62 million
Frozen Tundra 2.97 million

The Bad: (Only because I can not confirm if you can make payroll)
Quakes 2.5 million
Brownsnakes 2.26 million
lumber jacks 1.49 million

The Ugly
Knights 0.60 million
Flyers 0.09 million (Lucky they have a home game tonight or they'd be broke)

Obviously, this can not account for expected income from concessions, whether or not you have stadium construction done (why I dont know), or if you have money still in your team's equipment account.

I somehow got lucky, my first season I wound up with an agent on my team named Bigmex71, from go he was so helpful. He has managed my finances, and taught me the nuances of GLB finances. I think the Mavs are in a very good financial state, thanks to him. I never had to go through that "learning" season on my own.

I GM'd for a team with horrible finances for a season before I got the Catsharks; that taught me everything about what NOT to do.

I think learning what not to do ,is as important as learning what to do.

I didn't have a clue what I was doing when I got my team and almost lost it after the first season by making a ton of trades. I didn't expand my stadium to after the second season, but now I have learned a lot. One of the biggest mistakes I hear people make is everybody hollering "big stadium, big stadium" . That is very important but that is only half of it. Some people are proud of the fact that they sell out their stadium for the whole season in the preseason. I don't sell out each home game until the day of or day before the game. I get every penny I can out of it. Since those first couple of seasons, I have learned how to turn it into an art. My stadium is still small because I only bought sections the last 2 seasons when I learned better. I can tell you exactly how much I am going to make this season and I will buy 5 sections and take care of level 32 upgrades at the same time. I have already bought 2 sections and given out the level 32 upgrades. All of this without missing the playoffs in any season.
