Okay here are the rankings after game 5. Here is what I went by in no particular order:
1) Record or win/loss
2) Strength of roster
3) Strength of wins/losses

You may or may not agree with them, but this is how I see them. LW is last weeks ranking.

****ALPHA POWER RANKINGS****

#1 Legal Smexies (5-0) LW 1 - Well the Smexies just keep on rolling! The Tigers just couldn't seem to contain these damned legally smart and sexy bastards! But at least the Tigers kept it close at 153-0.
Next opponent: #7 Danube Blues (3-2)

#2 Czech Yourself (4-1) LW 3 - Czech Yourself moves up to #2 in the rankings this week with the Blues losing and earning a very solid win over Greece Lightning. Czech will be at #2 for at least 2 more weeks with Ufa and Belmont both up next, until a meaningful test finally arrives against the Plumbers Crack in game 8.
Next opponent: #15 Ufa Tycoons (0-5)

#3 Amsterdam Hallucinations (4-1) LW 5 - Amsterdam really proved themselves and earned a lot of street credit with a big win over Danube 42-10. I think they slipped more LSD into the Blues booze, but I can't prove anything............................yet.
Up next is another good test in #8 Gunzenhausen.
Next opponent: #8 Gunzenhausen Wolfpack (3-2)

#4 Croatian Killer Turtles (4-1) LW 6 - CKT took on the Plumbers Crack and gave them a spankin' of 44-21. They made those guys pull their pants up and show no mo crack, at least for this game. Taking on the #5 Average Joe's next.
Next opponent: at #5 Average Joe's (4-1)

#5 Average Joe's (4-1) LW 7 - The Average Ones went above average on the Hitmens asses in a 51-20 workout. CKT is up next in a very tough and important game.
Next opponent: #4 Croatian Killer Turtles (4-1)

#6 Krakow Plumber's Crack (3-2) LW 4 - After CKT got through with them the Plumbers Crack looked like this: http://static.pyzam.com/img/funnypics/people/pe12.jpg
But they will get 2 warm up games in Ufa and Greece Lightning before a Czech Yourself showdown.
Next opponent: #11 Greece Lightning (2-3)

#7 Danube Blues (3-2) LW 2 - Coming off a big loss to Amsterdam, the Blues now have to face the Smexies at the Smexies Hideout. If the Blues can get a win here it would vault them back to a Top 4 position.
Next opponent: at #1 Legal Smexies (5-0)

#8 Gunzenhausen Wolfpack (3-2) LW 9 - The Wolfpack roll past the .500 mark after a big win over the Impalers. #3 Amsterdam awaits next with a nice rufinol martini specially made for the Wolfpack.
Next opponent: at #3 Amsterdam Hallucinations (4-1)

#9 Bohemia Gryphons (3-2) LW 8 - The Gryphons destroyed the Wolverines 45-14. Rolling up 473 yards rushing and 7.5 yards passing. Two more doormats await the Gryphons until a match up with the Blues in game 8.
Next opponent: at #14 Belmont Fire Seers (1-4)

#10 Hungarian Hitmen (2-3) LW 10 - A 51-20 loss to the Average Joe's gives the Hitmen three straight losses and keeping them from breaking into a Top 8 spot. A brief rest comes n the form of the Impalers and then it's back to work against Amsterdam and then the Smexies.
Next opponent: at #13 Wallachia Impalers (1-4)

#11 Greece Lightning (2-3) LW 11 - Things aren't looking good for the Lightning with Krakow and Average Joe's up next. The Lightning have fallen under .500 and look to be more of a spark than a lightning bolt.
Next opponent: at #6 Krakow Plumber's Crack (3-2)

#12 Wildflecken Wolverines (1-4) LW 12 - Win #2 is up next for the Wolverines. Enjoy it while it lasts, because it won't be long before it goes away.
Next opponent: #16 Nyíregyháza Tigers (0-5)

#13 Wallachia Impalers (1-4) LW 13 - The Impalers can't seem to get anything going and three more games against three tough teams are up next until a win arrives in a game against Ufa in game 9.
Next opponent: #10 Hungarian Hitmen (2-3)

#14 Belmont Fire Seers (1-4) LW 14 - Belmont got it's first win of the season last game. Yay!
Belmont gets back to losing next. Boo!
Next opponent: #9 Bohemia Gryphons (3-2)

#15 Ufa Tycoons (0-5) LW 16 - The Tycoons move up to #15 this week just because they have scored points. Yay!
I'm just waiting for that week 14 showdown that pits Ufa against Nyrfhnb765t?//* Tigers. That should be the Game of the Year!

#16 Nyíregyháza Tigers (0-5) LW 15 - I'll learn how to say their dam name sometime, but it really doesn't matter with the way they keep losing. Scoring no points wins you last place and a first class ticket to BBB.

Here's my prediction record week by week. Finally got a GOW right! Yay!

Week 3: 5-3, Week 4: 6-2, Week 5: 7-1
Overall: 18-6
G.O.W.: 1-2

#4 Croatian Killer Turtles (4-1) at #5 Average Joe's (4-1) = CKT - This should be a good one here! I finally got a GOW right when I went with the Turtles. So I ain't messing with the mojo this time.
Game Rating: 6/6 beers - a six pack is just too average for this one, pick up a case and let the ride begin.

#7 Danube Blues (3-2) at #1 Legal Smexies (5-0) = Legal Smexies - The Legal Smexies are just too dam legal, too dam smart and too dam sexy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipZDG6__Zfc
Going with the Smexies.
Game Rating: 5/6 beers - might even give this one a shot of Wild Turkey to boot

#8 Gunzenhausen Wolfpack (3-2) at #3 Amsterdam Hallucinations (4-1) = Amsterdam Hallucinations - Amsterdam has a roofie potion specially made for the Wolfpack. Go with those fun loving, mind expanding Hallucinations.
Game Rating: 5/6 beers - and throw in an ounce or two of 'shrooms.

#11 Greece Lightning (2-3) at #6 Krakow Plumber's Crack (3-2) Krakow Plumber's Crack - Krakow will make the lightning look like a tiny spark in this one. Stick with the Crack Jack!

#10 Hungarian Hitmen (2-3) at #13 Wallachia Impalers (1-4) = Hungarian Hitmen - The Hitmen put a contract out on the Impalers. Time to pay the piper Impalers.

#9 Bohemia Gryphons (3-2) at #14 Belmont Fire Seers (1-4) = Bohemia Gryphons - The only thing that the Fire Seers will see is the Gryphons pissing on them to put the fires out.

It's a GOW Cage Match! The only way to win is out score your opponent.........................or climb over the top of the cage, of course.

destroyed ? did you watch the game ? i was upset about the score , but it was a close game till we shit the bed in the 4th quarter

it was 10-7 at the half and we were on the 2 yard line and we went for it on 4th down , and give them props the stopped us - but it could have been 14-10 or 10-10 at the half

they rolled us in the 4th true , but they didnt destroy us imo

Bohemia owns Wilflecken the same way Plumbers Crack owns us - good job keeping it close till the half, maybe next time you can have a 1 point lead at half over us and a hurricane will roll through and the game will have to be called.........dunno
