Wow big movement by the Mule train.... +7!

We lost 7 last week. I haven't quite figured out how these work yet. Last week we came real close to beating a team that clearly olutleveled us. And this week we clearly beat a team that outleveled us across the board. Seems we'd have jumped higher than 7, according to the 7 loss.

I don't know about "everyway", but we're not going to slow down the Bugle All Stars any time soon.

I'm just saying I'm not sure how the rankings work. Just seems inconsistant to me. Maybe it takes longer into the season to see who is in the top. I just figured close to midseason, all the factors would be closer to a true ranking.

Do stats play that big of a factor? If so, in the 300 yards we gave up in the air I could expect that from a superior team thats supposed to win.

I'm just sayin I don't know. Calm down. If it comes to diggin a hole, drop us 21 spots. I don't care. I would just like to know how it's all factored. Nothing scientific, just something other than "I like you this week but not next week"

Teuf, you may have just struck a nerve since I think the Beast still hasn't found their return man's left testicle from the game before last. Seriously, though, we are in a tough conference where every week we have another tough match up. I was disappointed that we blew a 14 point lead against the Beast, but on the other hand no one else has played them that close yet. Still a lot of tough games ahead including todays matchup. The rankings are entertaining, but at the end of the day all I care about is the "W". GL to all the rest of the season, except when you play us of course.

The West is an incredibly tough conference. It looks like two perfectly fine teams are going to be relegated simply for grabbing the short straw, not because they suck. The same can't be said of the East.

Also, last season was all about the East -- they had a few great teams, a few good teams, and some not-so-great teams. The West only had one or two great teams, but the rest were all pretty much good teams. The loss of talent at the top hurt the East, and the influx of talent at the bottom only helped the West.

Right now, I'd say the best of both conferences match up well, but pick any team from the middle or from the bottom and the West would win.

Agreed. In the year I have been playing GLB, I have yet to experience a conference as solidly matched as Canada A#6 West has been the past two seasons. Here I was thinking this year would be semi easy since 5 teams got promoted from the West last season...but noooooo. Pimpin going half CPU is the only reason we have had an easy game all season.
