GG Karawang.

Week 4 surprises:

Hellfighters knock off Karawang by 17. Are the Fighter from Hell for real or is Karawang running the same package against everyone and it finally caught up to them? I'd say a bit of both. We'll find out next week.

Padang losing to Aggieland. Aggieland has a decent roster, but they have no GMs and their record has shown what a lack of game planning gets you. Padang should have won this game, I can only surmise that RL is taking its toll on the Padang game planning.

Sapporu blowing out the Taipei Pandas. Sapporu has a good team, but they need to find some consistency every week.

Week 6 Projections:

Running of the Titans
Phooeys over TC Williams

100/0
Patriots over PP Warriors

PP Kung Fu Pandas over Danang

Black Knights over Karumai

Bien Hoa over Gobi

Davao over Scranton

Bucks over Aggieland

Karawangs over the Captains

Shanghello Pirates over the Vietnam Veterans

Hanoi over the Iggles

70/30
Kathmandu over the Taipei Pandas

50/50
Vanuatu over the Kamikaze (Game of the week, should be a fun one as they battle for sole possession of conference 1st place!)

Shaolin over Sapporu (Sapporu should win, but their inconsistency means this week is a losing one since last game was a winning one)

Wuhan over Hella Hokies

Hellfighters over Bangalore

Bangkok over Padang (Assuming Padang won't have time to game plan)

Is it just me or were Karawang running cover 0 or goalline or some shit against you? Zeta has gone to fuck this season. Most of the teams that will likely finish in the top four have lost already. Padang has gone to hell. Whats happening?

Anyway Im just happy the Bucks are playing as well as we are. If you take away that freaky game where the HB breaks 38 tackles against us and they score from a fumble recovery wed be 5-0 comfortably. Today was closer than it looked having said that. It helps having as many good CBs as we do though who can get pick sixes from nowhere. Also it helps having the offense we do especially our passing game which is the best in the league. I cant wait to see how many yards our QB will get when he finally faces the Titans....

Alright. New one up and we are only a 50/50 chance to win. That sounds about right.

I think it speaks more for the competition overall in the conference that there isn't one or two dominant teams rolling over everybody.

Gotta agree with Sewaside here.

Im not saying its a bad thing its just unexpected. Hell it must be a bit of an anomalous league in GLB this season as most leagues are eight good teams eight bad. I think a lot of it though comes down to some teams with really good players thinking they dont have to game plan as much. Id say theres about seven teams that are capable of winning this division (Tokyo, Hong Kong, Bangalore, Davao, Karawang, Padang and yes the Bucks) but theres a broad range of player ability in that mix. The team that wins is going to be the one who can set their tactics so that no matter what the other team does they cant eliminate all their threats.

You need to learn how to spell Sapporo consistently.

To be honest if Shaolin did not win I would consider that a pretty big upset.

FYI, I project Shaolin going 0-4 in this quarter. They haven't beaten a good team yet and they have not convincingly destroyed the bad ones, we'll see tomorrow I guess.

You also need to learn how to predict games with consistency.

Congratulations Hellfighters, a game well played. Stopping us 5 times in your red zone and holding us to field goals, credit to your D. Good luck for the rest of the season - I hope we can have a re-match in the playoffs.

Got it.

Your team is one of the harder ones to peg how good they are from week to week, that is why the predictions have the variance. On one hand you almost take down the Kamikaze putting you as a legitimate #1, but then you struggle with the #3 KF Pandas and #4 Kathmandu has a multi score victory over you.

Just busting your chops

Regarding the KF Pandas; as we only had 3 CBs on the team at the time, we figured KF would try to exploit that, so we focused heavily on defending the pass; they did the complete opposite and ran heavily. Regarding Kathmandu... IDK, maybe they boosted for us? That's something they only know. I do know they also did an excellent job scouting us regardless.

We're still not with a full roster, but we're working on it.

I think 50/50 is generous in our (Kamikazes) favor. Vanuatu out-levels us in damn near every position, and I usually game plan drunk off my ass... We knocked them off in the playoffs last season but it seems as if both teams have changed drastically. I'd say 60/40 Vanuatu. Either way... it should be a good game.
