Some surprises this week as the wheat starts to separate from the chaff. Only one unbeaten left in what is turning into a league of hellacious proportions.
Kaiserslautern Red Devils (2-2) at København Hühnerfalken (4-0) 22-52
The conference leading Hühnerfalken beat the hell out of the Red Devils in front of a raucous crowd of 41,170 at The Killing Field. The first quarter pretty much sealed it up with 2 TD passes by København QB Jefferson Airplane sandwiched a brilliant 94 yard punt return by the Hühnerfalken's stud CB/KR Speedy Fast to give København a 21 point lead which they would never relinquish. The Hühnerfalken front four was all over the QB combining for 6 sacks.

Torpedo Cowthorpe (3-1) at East Cairo Argonauts (3-1) 10-51
Argonauts Stadium was pumping as East Cairo stomped out the visiting Cowthorpe in blowout fashion 51-10. East Cairo jumped out to an early lead after stringing together scores on three consecutive possessions the third of which was facilitated by a crushing blow by ECA's Trevor "The Archbishop" Stone which jarred the ball from stud? HB/KR Wilson W. Wilson Jr.. With a comfortable 17-0 lead after 1 quarter East Cairo was never really challenged by the Torps and the rushing attack predominated with HB TwinkleToes Hillsowski racking up yards (153.5 yards, 1 TD) and HB A Hasic finishing crucial drives with 5 TDs.

The Game of the Week saw Passion pull off the win on the road with a gutsy 2nd half comeback as the Fruits take down Parma at Sergio Lanfranchi Stadium. QB iBomb Atomically hit WR Hernando Peligroso on a deep pattern with under 2 minutes to play and the speedy wideout took it to the house for the game winning score. Passion's dynamic duo at DE Give You The Run-Around and M. Anderson each had two sacks and LB Rev Up had a timely 36 yard interception return on Parma's first drive which set the tone for the game.

Manchester Spartans (3-1) at Stalingrad Snipers (1-3) 38-34
Disappointed fans shuffled out of The BLOOD Bowl half heartedly as the Spartans edge out the Snipers in a game that was more lopsided than the score belies. Despite scoring the first points of the game Stalingrad trailed the majority of the game mostly due to the damage done by Manchester HB King Razorback who carried 40 times for 137 yards and 3 touchdowns. Offensive G Boots The Monkey put up 9 pancakes in just 28 plays to spring some of the impressive runs by Razor and set the tone on the line.
