Hey everyone! Sorry for the lack of power rankings last week but had some issues that had to be attended to and did not have time. I spent some time thinking about the use of strength of schedule and decided that since we are past the season half-way mark, SoS should account for less and record should account for more in the power rankings. Besides, after the week 15 games everyone will have the exact same SoS.
Let me know what you think of the new rankings so that I may make any necessary adjustments. Or feel free to let me know how unfair my biased mathematical equation is to your team (because I know you will anyways

THE TOP TEN
1. USA Vacationers (10-0), 69.24
The undefeated Vacationers rolled over the Warriors to their second highest point total (76) and 4th shutout of the season. The Vacationers are trying to keep their undefeated record and 18 game win streak out of their minds and they prepare for their next game like it was any other. Will the media hype get to them? We’ll have to wait and see. Next game: Away at Warsaw Eagles (5-5)
2. Dubrovnik Destroyers (9-1), 64.68
The Destroyers must have put up a poster of what the Dream’s GM Vens had been saying about AAA#1 Alpha Conference. Being called weaklings was all the fire the Destroyers needed to shut the Tall Dream out 51-0. Next game: Away at Moscow Communists (8-2)
3. MCXA Cybernationists (9-1), 53.16
The Cybernationists were able to take down the Communists to leave only 2 1-loss teams in Alpha Conference. The 5 interceptions that the Cybernationists were able to produce killed many of the Communists drives and only allowed them to score a field goal. Next game: Away at biguglia black heads (3-7)
4. Moscow Massacre (8-2), 46.08
The Massacre had a very close call against the Desert Vultures. The Vultures were able to answer the Massacre’s 4th quarter touchdown with a field goal with 3:29 to play to send it into OT. The Vultures had the ball first in OT but an interception by the Massacre’s Trace Hawk gave Massacre the ball. A 47.5 yd field goal in OT game the Massacre the win. Next game: Home vs Mobile Red Elephant Club(4-6)
5. Tenerife Thunderbirds (8-2), 44.54
The Thunderbirds have shown yet again that they have the power and belong among the best teams in AAA #1. A 37-0 win over the Odessa Stunners was only their second shutout of the season but they still haven’t played either of the two winless teams from Zeta Conference. Next game: Home vs KGB All-Stars (4-6)
6. Moscow Communists (8-2), 43.64
Perhaps it’s because Communist QB Joseph Stallin didn’t show for practice the past two days (inactive since May 12, 10:04) that he threw 5 interceptions. In his defense, he didn’t have much of an option when the Cybernationist’s rush defense only allowed 42 yards. Hopefully the QB starts showing up for practice and helps the Communists refocus for their next game because it’s going to be tough. Next game: Home vs Dubrovnik Destroyers (9-1)
7. Helsinki Hell Raisers (7-3), 43.26
The highest ranked 3-loss team is the Hell Raisers. The past two weeks they have destroyed their opponents by a combined 127-0. The only problem is that those opponents are a combined 0-20. Giving credit where credit is due, the Hell Raisers destroyed teams that they were supposed to destroy but they will need their rest for their next game as it's sure to be a great game. Next game: Away at Dogdandy Dragons (8-2)
8. Berlin Hounds from Hell (7-3), 39.64
Just barely edging out the Dragons for the #8 spot were the Hounds from Hell and their impressive 21-13 win over the LeatherWrecks. With decisive wins over the weaker teams in Zeta Conference and closer wins/losses against the stronger teams, the Hounds have proven to be a top 10 team. Next game: Home vs Vaadwaur Phoenix (6-4)
9. Dogdandy Dragons (8-2), 39.6
The Scotch Cocks vs the Dogdandy Dragons sure was a (dog)dandy of a game (insert rim shot). The Scotch Cocks scored a TD with 3:29 left to play to give them the edge in a 20-17 win. A 4th and 10 play on the Cock’s 13.5 yard line yielded a tunover on downs and secured the win for the Cocks. It was a great game that gave the Dragons their second loss of the season, now with both losses by a combined 12 points. They will have a chance for redemption against a good team next week. Next game: Home vs Helsinki Hell Raisers (7-3)
10. Scotch Cocks (8-2), 37.22
The Scotch Cocks round out the top ten and deservedly so after a great win against the Dragons. I’m sure I’ll read about how the Cocks beat both the Dragons and Hell Raisers (both ranked above them) but I can assure all the Cocks (and their fans) that I have no bias or ill-will against their team. The biggest deciding factor in the rank of the Cocks being lower then, I am sure all of their team, thinks is the 0-48 play against the Vacationers. Needless to say, this team has come a long way since that game and has the chance to move a lot higher if they continue to play well. Next game: Away at New World Order (4-6)

Fun Fact!
I feel a little like Chick-fil-A. They have a motto that says, “We Didn’t Invent The Chicken Just the Chick Sandwich.” Well, I didn’t invent power rankings, I just calculate them.
Game of the Week
Next weeks game of the week has to go to the Black Russian Terriers at the Duval Triads. In what has been dubbed "The Battle For a Win" nobody is sure if the score will remain in the single digits or climb to the triple digits. Vegas currently has the under/over of the game at 38 with the Terriers as a 3 point favorite. Gentlemen, place your wagers.
Hope everyone enjoys!
