It takes roughly 5-7 weeks for these rankings to settle down and be more accurate but yeah, as of now you guys are predicted to get blown out.

We had the Bulls game early, which is throwing the numbers off. There's no way the line on our game is Aggies -50. In fact, I think it's more like Lake Erie -20+.

I dont know if there is a favorite. Im not surprised anymore with the sims. I use to be "WTF". now im more like, "eh, figures". Like i said, if it's a close game; cool. If it's a blowout, i won't be surprised. The sim is so damn unpredictable.

Games that should be close seem to become blow outs for no real apparent reason.

It's called gameplanning.

Thanks for throwing this up here. Kind of puts our 3-0 into perspective for the bears. But your right it is early for an rpi, some teams have had it pretty rough so far

To some extent, but the Sim Monster definitely shows his face quite frequently.

Thanks for taking the time to put this together. I don't like being #1 though. I guess we'll see if we deserve it later on tonight when we play the team I consider to be #1.

I agree with others, that the line on this game is about even. No real favorite, and if there is, it has to go the Aggies way due to past performance at least slightly. Thankfully, there's still a game to be played, so we'll get to find out in a few short hours.

The only thing I don't understand, is how the RPI calculator has us ranked ahead of the Aggies, but a 50 point dog? SRSLY! That just seems like wierd to me I suppose.

Yup, another team I'm on had a tight game with a team similar to ours. Underlevel'd but slowbuilders. Would have been a close great matchup game, but we got smashed for 4 Fumbles by the sim monster, 3 that were returned/converted to TD's.

Then today, we play a team that probably should have won - they had 3 fumbles lost, 5 fumbles total. To our 0. That's sim monster stuff right there. I'll take the win for sure, but still.

Its based off of record and the record of your opponents as well as scores of said games. Its why it takes the spreadsheet 5 to 7 weeks to straighten out and remove most of the anomalies. Blowouts are more likely to throw off the system etc. This isnt accurate by any means but the boards are dead so start some shit with those ranked higher than you or something.
