Hey everyone......Never trust anything 007 says or promises to do. He told everyone on the team that they were being released due to the restructure. He told me no less than 3 times he was releasing my player and then he trades him to a sh*t team. The guy has no integrity. I guess we now know why he is only dealing with his own players....he can't be honest with agents......Do me a favor.....kick the sh*t out of KO for the rest of the year. If you could....please run up the score as much as possible....Chicken Sh*t cant man up and play out the year, he quits, pulls the rug out from the team.

I heard about that and I contacted 007 to find out why he was behaving like this..
I think GLB should be fun and honesty should be a standart.

My answer: If you want to do what will be the best for your team, so give your agents the opportunity to decide where they like to play.. especially if you promise it!!!

fortunately i feel like i have a pretty good bond with my players and any new agents that become a part of our program. i'd never sell out the guys who have made a commitment to my team.

Its just a game
He will be on a new team in less then 24 hours
Its not the end of the world
His player is not gods gift to GLB
Finishing the season with a team that needs him is not going to kill him
Helping someone other than himself will do him good i think
Maybe he will learn from this experience and choose his words better
when trying to get others to do something for HIM (like all of the other times he messaged me about anything)

No offense, but it's pretty hypocritical to call him out for selfishness when you went back on your word to make your team a few e-dollars. Especially considering how you screwed your agents' plans for the season by packing it in after 1 game.

Ok, this is very weird. The money saved from not paying high leveled players the rest of the season is more than enough to start building a stadium. Also figure 3 seasons of slowbuilding you should finish your stadium with no need to trade any players for cash.
I know its not my team and 007 has the right to do what ever he wants but that is kind of low, considering he is going slow build. Spending a couple hours for the next couple days helping your old roster of agents could have gone a long way towards building for the future. Your rep does matter and this will be tough to overcome IMO.
Good luck to 007 and his exteammates. Hopefully some lessons can be learned and everybody can move on.

oo7 spent the flex to buy the team, he can do what he wants - period. If you are an agent & you don't like it, you have had more than enough chances to buy your own team.
Either buy your own team and control your player's own destiny or understand that when you go to someone else's team that they spent $ on that they have the right to make the best business decisions for that team.
We all read the boards on GLB, this stuff has been happening since season one yet idiots like the guy who started this thread are still shocked. Buy your own team or shut up and deal with it.

lol by a GM from Happy hour that screwed over people last season even worse. (pulled guys off the depth chart for a few games while trying to move them)
A team has the right to move players, but the agent has the right to bitch about it and warn others.

Not a single person was screwed over by HH. EVERYONE had the OPTION of being traded ASAP or being released within a few days. Go back and look at the threads. The guy (I think it was sling) who was the one guy who b*tched only missed 2 games....and he even posted a thank you on this board for everything being handled quickly (and wished HH the best going forward) when it was all said & done.

Frost is right. Spend flex to buy a team or live at the mercy of owners who, rightfully, look out for their own best interests.
It doesn't cost much $/flex to buy a team. Everyone has had a lot of chances to buy a team. The only excuse for putting yourself at someone else's mercy is that you are lazy or so broke that you need to go get a 3nd job and lay off GLB.
