Warrior General Games

Okay here are the rankings after game 2. Here is what I went by in no particular order:
1) Record or win/loss
2) Strength of roster
3) Strength of wins/losses

You may or may not agree with them, but this is how I see them. LW is last weeks ranking.

****ZETA POWER RANKINGS****

#1 Wroclaw Mambas (3-0) LW 1 - Wroclaw rolls versus the Bandits. Four straight tough opponents are up next for the Mambas. Should bwe a good test for them if they want to remain on top.
Next opponent: at #4 Macedonia Trojans (3-0)

#2 Short Bus All-Stars (3-0) LW 2 - 198-0 win over the CPU Transatlantic Devils. Not much else you can do against the Devils but win. Big test up next against the Hell Hounds.
Next opponent: at #3 Istanbul Hell Hounds (3-0)

#3 Istanbul Hell Hounds (3-0) LW 3 - The Hell Hounds bit the Mafia straight in the ass!! 255 freakin' points?!?! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=He82NBjJqf8
A huge battle is up next against Short Bus.
Next opponent: at #2 Short Bus All-Stars (3-0)

#4 Macedonia Trojans (3-0) LW 4 - The Trojans are steam rolling teams right now. The Jive Turkeys were the latest to fall in a 39-19 win. A big showdown with the #1 Mambas is next.
Next opponent: #1 Wroclaw Mambas (3-0)

#5 Banja Luka Funky Bunch (3-0) LW 5 - Well the Funky Bunch proved to be most funky. Cruising to a 106-0 win over ROF to prove that Banja Luka truly is the funkiest of the funky. Whether they are the funkiest because of the win or because they never shower after a game is still yet to be determined.
Next opponent: at #9 Luzitian Dynasty (1-2)

#6 Knossos Minotaurs (3-0) LW 6 - The Minotaurs played a great defensive game against Luzitian to stay perfect. Barry "Crazy Legs" Sanders rushed for 176 yards to lead Knossos to the win.
Next opponent: at #12 Banja Luka Boracs (0-3)

#7 The Gods (2-1) LW 8 - The Gods pulled out a 13-11 come from behind 4th quarter win over the Greek Gods in the last game. A pick6 by Pick6McGee turned the game into the Gods favor. Any more Godly miracles left to use against ROF?
Next opponent: at #13 Renegades Of Funk (1-2)

#8 Pirgos Warlords (2-1) LW 9 - The Warlords completely rolled over the Boracs. Racking up 300 yards rushing and allowing -28 yards rushing en route to a 79-0 shut out is the way to win. The Bandits are up next and then a vrey tough 4 game stretch.
Next opponent: #14 Las Vegas Bandits (0-3)

#9 Luzitian Dynasty (1-2) LW 7 - In a 9-19 loss to the Minotaurs, the offense of the Dynasty was more like the Die-Nasty. The Minotaur defense completely shut Luzitian down making the pass game go only 21/40.
Next opponent: #5 Banja Luka Funky Bunch (3-0)

#10 Vancouver Jive Turkeys (0-3) LW 10 - Going 0-3 to start the season is not good at all. But the Mafia are up next to give the Jive Turkeys their first win. Enjoy it J.T.'s.
Next opponent: at #16 Warsaw Mafia (0-3)

#11 Greek Gods (0-3) LW 11 - The bad news is that the Greek Gods lost a close one to the Gods. The good news is that the Transatlantic Devil's are up next.
Next opponent: #15 Transatlantic Devils (1-2)

#12 Banja Luka Boracs (0-3) LW 12 - The Boracs first 6 games are against top teams. The schedule makers were not very kind to them. With the rolling Minotaurs up next, don't look for any relief soon.
Next opponent: #6 Knossos Minotaurs (3-0)

#13 Renegades of Funk (0-3) LW 13 - Well the Renegades lost the Fight For The Funkiest to Banja Luka 106-7. Play that funky music and better luck against the Gods.
Next opponent: #7 The Gods (2-1)

#14 Las Vegas Bandits (0-3) LW 14 - The Bandit passing game was no match for the Wroclaw defense and ground game. Bandits D gave up 430 yards rushing and 170 yards passing on 9 completions. The Mambas hit the jackpot on the One Armed Bandits.
Next opponent: #8 Pirgos Warlords (2-1)

#15 Transatlantic Devils (1-2) LW 15 - Only my ex-wife got scored on more times than the all CPU devils...............that slut. No, I'm not bitter!
Next opponent: at #11 Greek Gods (0-3)

#16 Warsaw Mafia (0-3) LW 16 - The Mafia took another hit and fall to 0-3. I would go through the highlights, but the Hell Hounds scored 255 points. 255!!!
Next opponent: #10 Vancouver Jive Turkeys (0-3)


*****WEEK 3 PREDICTIONS*****

Here's my prediction record week by week.

Week 3: 7-1
G.O.W. - 0-1

#2 Short Bus All-Stars (3-0) at #3 Istanbul Hell Hounds (3-0) = Short bus All Stars - great match up right here! The Short Bus have won 23 in a row and the Hell Hounds are looking for a win to get ahead. I'm going to stick with Short Bus.
Game Rating: 6/6 beers - order the pizza and make an early run to the liquor store, you don't want to miss this one!

#1 Wroclaw Mambas (3-0) at #4 Macedonia Trojans (3-0) = Wroclaw Mambas - This should be a very good test for the Mambas. I'm sticking with them.
Game Rating: 6/6 beers - Throw in a couple shots for this one! One of these teams will need a shot to numb the pain fromthis game.

#5 Banja Luka Funky Bunch (2-0) at #9 Luzitian Dynasty (1-2) = Funky Bunch - I'm going to go with the Funky Bunch on this one. Should be close though.

#6 Knossos Minotaurs (3-0) at #12 Banja Luka Boracs (0-3) = Knossos Minotaurs - Minotaurs are on a roll and the Boracs won't be able to slow them down. Take the Minnies.

#7 The Gods (2-1) at #13 Renegades of Funk (0-3) = The Gods - Renegades of Funk are in a huge funk right now. The Gods should take this one easily.
Game Rating: 2/6 beers

#8 Pirgos Warlords (2-1) at #14 Las Vegas Bandits (0-3) = Pirgos Warlords - Bandits have been getting mugged by everyone so far, no change against the Warlords.
Game Rating: 2/6 beers

#15 Transatlantic Devils (1-2) at #11 Greek Gods (0-3) = Greek Gods - Gods against Devil's! A battle of biblical proportions! Get Zeus and the boys ready for their first win of the season.
Game Rating: 1/6 beers

#10 Vancouver Jive Turkeys (0-3) at #16 Warsaw Mafia (0-3) = Jive Turkeys - The Jive Turkeys aren't messing around with the Mafia! J.T.'s get their first win here.

*Game Of The Week*
#2 Short Bus All-Stars (3-0) at #3 Istanbul Hell Hounds (3-0) - #2 vs #3!! Short Bus won their conference last season by beating the Hell Hounds. Hell Hounds are looking for some revenge! Two rivals pair up in this GOW that should be very close. These are 2 teams that just don't like each other!
It's Thunder Dome!! Two teams enter, one team leaves!! Let's get it on!!

The last time the allstars played the hounds, we gave them the GM touch of death, which caused their OC to be cut. It'll be interesting to see what happens this time.

Yeah, it's good to see that rivalries from BBB have been brought over to A#1. Both GOW's are good rivalry games.
Usually I just look at my own teams game right after the sim, except when I'm scouting. But I just might look at one or both of the GOW's for fun.

You should title these threads power rankings, have them stickied, and just edit them after each game
