Alpha:
#1. Williamsport Soul Reavers, Melbourne really wasn't all that of a challenge, but what little challenge it was, Williamsport faced it very well. WSR is really impressive to this point, but there is still many BIG time games coming up. The season is early.
#2. West Canaan Coyotes, Great win over the Guam Gorillas in week 2. That is one of those wins that just you wanna cry and scream, "Holy Mother of Crap, we are still alive". West Canaan really played a heck of a game with a great game plan and took home the W. They have a few weeks of relatively easier games than they will have later, so that works out nice for the Coyotes.
#3. Bay City Bohica, Look at em run mom! They faced two very tough teams to start out, and they are 2-0. The Bohica are just one of those teams that are very talented and can beat anybody. I am very exited to see what happens when Bay City takes on a West Canaan or a Samoa.
#4. Samoa Piranha Monkeys, What is it with 41? Two weeks in a row with 41 one points, if you get 41 next week, I will officially be freaked. Samoa is just a fun team to watch. They have two easier games up next, and should improve that record.
#5. Darwin Mud Crabs, Great win in week 1 vs A-State and another solid win in week 2 vs Vero. Darwin has a lot of talent, and has put together two very nice wins so far. I do question what will happen when they face a monster team like they will do over the next three weeks (Johnston, Easter Island, and West Canaan... Holy Crap).
Zeta:
#1. Florida Frenzy, You know those teams that you just hate because they just have their crap together, and they didn't fight all those seasons to be great like you did? Florida is that team. They are just unfreaking believable. What nerve?! They just get going and within a season or two they are untouchable. AMAZING job here boys, and congrats. Keep representing OA#3.
#2. Port Royal Predators, Definitely a huge win over a great Newcastle team! Port Royal is really playing some nice ball. This team along with Florida is on a 22 game winning streak, amazing. I am so pumped for week 3 when these guys get to play Sumatra.
#3. Perth Cyclones, They have one heck of a defense. I am a little worried about those offensive numbers, but with a defense like these boys have, who need offense. Perth is playing freaking great ball, and I am pumped to see what they have to offer in the weeks to come.
#4. Endzone Warriors, Heck of a win vs a really solid Coney Island team. Endzone is one of those teams that has a few things to prove, but I think they will be a pretty good team in the long run. Week 3 vs Perth will tell all.
#5. Sumatra Sea Hawks, They did lose in week one to a great WSR team by only 9, but I think they more than made up for it in week 2. They stopped a mud hole in the face of A-State. Sumatra is definitely one team that will be whipping a lot of good teams this season. I expect them to move up this ranking.
