What season?

Try looking in the LB position forum. If you don't like that nearly 400-post long thread, I'm not sure where to point you. Ultimately there are a couple opposing views I think and they might have actually separated the OLBs from the MLBs.

id be willing to help you out with build advice, be willing to open builds, etc... linebacker is my favorite position in this game. ive done ton of research on things. pm me with your questions. but like the other poster already mentioned it kinda depends on what you want to do. what kind of lb do you want to be? inside? outside? pass rusher? coverage? blitzer? combination of things?

Those who say that it depends on what you want to do are lying. You can build all LBs pretty much the same.

Basically lots of speed, agility, vision.

The differences inside and out are mainly more strength and tackling for run stuffers and more jumping/catching for coverage guys. There's also a bit of discussion on exact ratios for best performance, but you won't go far wrong concentrating on those.

here is something a lot of people miss. If your linebacker has a particular weakness, it will be exposed and hurt your team greatly against an opponent that is looking for that particular weakness.
