5. Sierra Leone Stallions - 90
6. Seychelles Island Sea Wolves - 76
7. Angola Dream - 48
7. Cape Verde Kings - 48
9. Angola Spider Monkeez - 46

Teams also receiving votes: Zambia Lions - 26, Windhoek White Rhinos - 16, UN Peacekeepers - 16, Congo Cripplers - 8, Botswana Brownie Eaters - 8, Somalia Pirates - 6
New teams in the Top 10: Dar es Salaam Warrior Kings
Teams out of the Top 10: Somalia Pirates
We had a little dip in participation for this one, but I can't complain because I was a day late with the last poll. With nine teams voting this week, TLGoT took the sweep and got the unanimous first place vote. I don't think anyone will argue with that after their impressive opening game.
LOL and DD both settled into their spots at 2nd and 3rd place once again, with DD closing the gap a little bit. Only a loss will knock any of these teams out of the top 3 spots.....Hey wait a second, what do you know....they just happen to play each other tomorrow in the...(Que the echo machine)...GAME OF THE WEEK!!!
We had to wait until the very end of the season last year to see these top three teams play each other. This season we are treated to an early donnybrook. LOL pulled out a squeaker last week but they don't have time to catch their breath, I'm sure DD had this game circled as soon as the schedule came out. LOL has been the most dominant team in APL history, DD wants that recognition....I personally can't wait to watch this one.
Cape Verde took a huge tumble in the rankings after getting dismembered by the Gunfighters last game. Once again we have two teams tied with 48 points..The Dream and The Kings. These two teams are very familiar with each other as they both fought back and forth the entire year last season for the Lion regular season title. Of course in the end the Bugeaters told both of them to sit down in the playoffs.
Those same Bugeaters move up a spot this week, quite honestly a spot I thought they should have held last week being the Lions defending champ. The Stallions and the upstart Sea Wolves also gain a spot each.
The Dream knocked the Pirates out of the Top 10 last week, and The Warrior Kings were more than ready to take their spot. Even though Dar es Salaam lost to the Legos in their opening game, they were impressive enough against that powerhouse to win the 10th position over other teams who are 1 - 0.
Another great game this week involves a team knocking on the door in the 11th position...The Zambia Lions. They will try to earn their way onto the list against The Dream tomorrow.
Good Luck to everyone!! Thanks for voting and I'll see you in 2 days. Have a great weekend.
