Week 1 is in the books & week 2 is on the horizon. Who will be the winners & losers?
Let's run down the basics.

Amsterdam Chronic Crusaders 1-0-0 (57) at Italian Stallions 1-0-0 (54)
Hard to gauge Amsterdam as they got the week 1 bakeoff, but I still expect them
to be one of the top teams. The Stallions will try to bring their offense to
bear down the Chronic, rumor has it that Cheetos & burritos are involved.
The Projection:Amsterdam Chronic 37 - Stallions 30
Final Score:Chronic Crusaders 27- Stallions 10
Skoll Wolfrun, 777 Sports: It has been a hectic day of games today & one of the
most exciting games of the day goes to Amsterdam visiting the I-talian Stallions.
Amsterdam took a run 1st while the Stallions went towards the skies. With a final
yardage difference of only 40 yards, this was a 4 point game going into the 4th.
D'Qwann Jordan took a pitch for a 20 yard TD & got a further assist by FS Darnell
Thomas' interception to put this game away. Darnell, what were you thinking on that
Stallion drive?
Darnell Thomas: I was thinking D'Qwann has a big ol' bag & gonna need to
share a bit tonight.
D'Qwann: /puff-puff-give...
Darnell Thomas: Aww...
SW: This is Skoll Wolfrun, getting my contact high...back to you, Jim.

Schiffertown Griffin's 0-1-0 (27) at Milan Cock Fighters 1-0-0 (51)
Milan gets the bye week.
The Projection: Griffins 6- Milan 100+
Final Score: Griffins 0- Milan 139

The Evil Empire 0-1-0 (54) at Icelandic Vikings 1-0-0 (54)
The Evil Empire may be vast, but they need to start force-choking some of the
troopers to get them in line after giving up week 1. Icelandic Vikings came up
big against the upstart Passion Fruits, basically smashing them into a smoothie.
The Projection:The Evil Empire 23-Vikings 33
Final Score: The Evil Empire 23-Vikings 41

Olympus Immortals 1-0-0 (54) at Douai Sharks 0-1-0 (54)
Olympus had all the right moves defensively over Edinburgh during week 1.
The Sharks seemed to have a few problems slowing down the Red Devil all-out
pass attack. Could be a long day for Douai.
The Projection:Olympus 40-Douai 24
Final Score: Olympus 37-Douai 10
Skoll Wolfrun: am I on? we are on? Skoll Wolfrun here, with Olympus Immortal
Owner OchO_CinCo. Mr. OchO_CinCo, how is it that you continually hold teams that
should be giving you better competition to minimal yards & points?
OchO_CinCo: Well, I could give you a white-wash of luck, any team can come
& win here...but we are that damn good. Oh, it's true, it's damn true. Top to
bottom, we are the team to beat here.
Skoll Wolfrun: Now in 2 weeks, you have arguably your stiffest competition
of the season in the Amsterdam Chronic Crusaders. How will you handle them?
OchO_CinCo: Just like all the rest, with execution...2 right behind the ear.

Bavarian Motor Works 1-0-0 (51) at El Campo Ricebirds 0-1-0 (48)
The car guys at BMW drove all over the Ruhr Stahl-Männer in game 1 via a
Pick-6, Kickoff Return TD, and some solid rushing. The Ricebirds were caught
sitting on the water when the hunters of SBD came to shoot them down. I
hope for a better showing, but I don't see El Campo being able to post the
points.
The Projection:BMW 42 - El Campo 13
Final Score: BMW 104 - El Campo 3

London Rippers 1-0-0 (51) at Frankfurt Thundercats 0-1-0 (51)
The Rippers pulled out a tight game vs Stalingrad after erasing a late game
deficit. Frankfurt took one on the chin from Manchester Spartans. The
Thundercats are sporting a fast arial attack, so this may be another skyborne
attack game on both sides.
The Projection:Rippers 37-Thundercats 28
Final Score: Rippers 37-Thundercats 24

The Diamond Crusaders 1-0-0 (57) at The Forsaken 0-1-0 (54)
The Crusaders put their mark on week 1 by smashing the Hat Tossers in the mouth
& holding them to a pair of Field Goals. The Forsaken spent week 1 trying to
figure out how solve the Torpedo problem, the difference in yards / play was a
mere 1.7 Rushing & 1.4 Passing.
The Projection:Crusaders 23-Forsaken 20
Final Score: Crusaders 29-Forsaken 13

Regensburg Steel Rain 0-1-0 (54) at Palmer Moose 0-1-0 (51)
After losing a close game to the Roman Legionnaires in week 1, the Steel Rain
hope to chalk 1 up in the W column. The Moose were crushed by Parma in week 1,
while they seem to have all the right pieces I don't think they will be able
to slow down the HB threats of Audentes Fortuna Juvat & Joshua Gosserand.
The Projection:Regensburg 33-Palmer 25
Final Score: Regensburg 59-Palmer 6

No one has every solved the Torpedo problem, nor anyone ever will.

We are a problem which cannot be solved,
One which plays havoc on defense's, new and old,
We will sting you whilst its cold,
And jeer you when you fold...

Im here all week.

Nice write up BTW, i loved the Torpedo Problem bit

The Thundercats seem to have a mean D Line.

Interested to see how our O Line holds up

Those sneakey Mooses are up to something I can feel it. They have been bringing in more players. I am getting a little nervous.

Good Job, except we prefer to be the underdog. Everyone gets so worked up! Hope you did not jinx us this week. Tons of respect for The Forsaken. Hopefully this will be another Win for us but when playing The Forsaken ya just never know what they might pull out of the trick bag. They are one of those teams that will bite you in the ass if your not looking. We will try to keep our eyes wide openO_OO_OO_OO_OO_O

You beat us by a Field Goal We Crusaders never Forget! Except the part about being pissed and crying - I don't recall that. Today we will try and return the favor. GL Forsaken I dont know about a clean game but it will be hard fought and to the winner will go the respect they deserve. I Hope - If I'm not crying O_OO_O Were watching youO_OO_O
