How come the Roadrunner is rated higher then the Ramrods?

I think these are more his Personal Rankings than they are Power Ratings. This is subjective whereas Power Ratings take a bunch of rankings in different categories and add them all up for to be objective (JTSERB listed actual Power Rankings a few games back). Ratings like this is probably easier--esp. since we haven't played everyone else yet. I enjoy them. There are so many good teams and everyone is so close that one play can be all the difference--just like in the NFL.

In pure statistical rankings using offense and defense, Reamstown would be ranked 9th.

True most games are decided by 7 pts or less, its a good division, the hope is to land a home playoff game for revenue capitalization.

Regardless of the formula used to come up with the rankings, the time and effort you took to put them together is greatly appreciated.

No Problem. It's fun and gives us something to talk about during the grueling 48 hour wait between games.

I see this formula takes into account as to when you loose quite a bit....or at least it looks that way.

Let me say that I'm cool with where Atlanta is but just wanted to know does the formula take into account how you lost too and the amount of points you lost by?

I try to make manual adjustments to take that into consideration, but getting upset by a much lower ranked team will definately hurt the ranking for that team.

interesting this week...we are ranked 10th. no problem there but curious why we are ranked behind Seattle Grand Cru who not only have 1 more loss than us but a team the florida free ballers beat...I know we did get upset by the elves and im sure you arent going to watch every game but we missed 3 easy kicks that game as well as two dropped TD's...

Florida has had a couple of rough weeks between the upset last week and squeaking one out this weak versus a much lower ranked opponnet. Seattle is gaining momentum with a nice winning steak.

I think you need to think of these as the old AP Rankings rather than Sagarin rankings. Love'm either way...although I am in the Ramrods over the Guttersluts, just on the head-to-head. Although as stated before, its pretty wide open at the top and will be more refined over the next few "weeks".
