nothing significant has changed so far in my idea of how good teams are other than some being shuffled based on how well or poorly i think they did compared to how i thought they would do in game 1 and in the preseason. we know alpha is very deep, and we know the cream of zeta is extremely strong, but that hasnt changed from game 1.

ALPHA

Amsterdam Magic Dragons at The Drunken Potato Farmers of Ayershire
-Preview: Ayershire got shit on by Lyon in game one, while Amsterdam took care of business against an undermanned Venice team. I think Amsterdam will be able to move the ball with limited resistance, and should hold off Ayershire by at least 15-20 points.
-Prediction: Amsterdam

Newcastle Seahorses at Arlington Avalanche
-Preview: Arlington's inactives and CPU players put up quite a fight against a solid Victoria team in week one. Newcastle is reeling, although I don't see how they can lose this game, but they had better take it seriously.
-Prediction: Newcastle

Amsterdam Red Lights at Dresden Destroyers **ALPHA GAME OF THE WEEK**
-Preview: Two very strong teams square off. Both teams look to have strong defensive performances. I think in that type of game, the game is won in the trenches, and the Red Lights seem to have the edge on the ground so I'm giving this game to them.
-Prediction: Amsterdam

Louisville Cards at Stockholm Dynamites
-Preview: Both teams teed off on crumbled Zeta teams. Stockholm is the better team here, and should find offensive success easy to come by against Louisville's patchy defense.
-Prediction: Stockholm

Stockholm Storm at Barcelona Assassins
-Preview: Blowout.
-Prediction: Barcelona

Palmetto Gamecocks at Hell on Turff
-Preview: Palmetto got crushed by Jacksonville, a Zeta powerhouse, so no shame in that. This is an early season matchup that has playoff implications already, as you can't expect to go 0-2 in Alpha and lose a crucial tiebreaker and cruise in to the postseason. Turff has a stronger team and a stronger defense.
-Prediction: Turff

Helsinki Hitmen at Oslo Norsemen
-Preview: I think this game will be closer than you would think. Oslo's offense is very ordinary in my view, and Helsinki's offense can match them. The key is how well Oslo's standout defense does against Helsinki, and if Helsinki's defense can keep them in the game. I think it will be close.
-Prediction: Oslo

Tulsa Doom at Madrid Pirates
-Preview: Should be an extremely good game here. Two good defenses, two solid offenses. Whenever I seem to call games to be low scoring they are high scoring, and vice versa, but for what its worth I think this will be a low scoring game.
-Prediction: Tulsa

ZETA

Lyon Winemakers at Krakow Knights **ZETA GAME OF THE WEEK**
-Preview: Both teams are coming off of big wins. Lyon brings its powerful offense up against Krakow's stone wall of a defense. I think this will be a very close game, but I fear this will be the end of Lyon's 21 game winning streak.
-Prediction: Krakow

Chrulle Mavericks at Jacksonville Jackalopes
-Preview: Blowout.
-Prediction: Jacksonville

Achei Crotone at Arlanda Jets
-Preview: Both teams were massacred in their first games, but Arlanda is the better team on paper and on the field.
-Prediction: Arlanda

Monte Carlo Red Glare at Venice Freebirds
-Preview: This game will be interesting. That doesn't mean close, but interesting, as Venice has some high level talent and CPU players that could put some points on MCRG. As I said, will be interesting.
-Prediction: Monte Carlo

Bordeaux Carlin at Atlanta 404
-Preview: 404 went CPU, and any halfway decent game plan can topple a CPU team, but I don't know if Bordeaux knows what a gameplan is. Still, can't be going around picking CPU teams.
-Prediction: Bordeaux

Bolderslev Pirates at Newark Nomads
-Preview: Barcelona showed how Bolderslev's depth issues will kill them, and my preseason projections were assuming they'd fix them. Look for Newark to thoroughly destroy this team by exploiting those holes.
-Prediction: Newark

Victoria Assassins at The Berlin Wall
-Preview: Victoria looked as bad as a team that averages high 30s for starters can look in a win. This game should be closer than you would think, but I believe The Wall will lose another heartbreaker.
-Prediction: Victoria

Stockholm Assassins at Berlin Spartans
-Preview: Stockholm looks like they may have brought some talent aboard, but they still have mega holes, but then again so does Berlin. I think Berlin looks like the less horrendous team, so they get the win here.
-Prediction: Berlin

Based on last season I gotta put the over/under at 80 on this one.

wouldnt surprise me tbh, its hard to predict what a team like that will do, so until i see them play a couple more games i dont know how bad of a team they will be.
