TOP 5 POWER RANKINGS
EASTERN CONFERENCE
1. Jacksonville Bling - Defending Eastern Conference Champs.. Keeping it steady with a blowout win over last years 0-16 Glenville Cardinals..
2. Omaha Big Slick - An up and coming team, with a lot of attitude. Likes to run the score up and obviously knows how handing last years Champs a loss in blowout fashion. As we've seen in recent news, the Chuck's aren't making a repeat.. Take the 171-0 win with a grain of salt. Still a tough team by the looks of things..
3. Little Bastards - Another very good team to mention. Very organized, and filled with a roster of day 31 players. They know the basics, and handed the Temptation a very deciding loss 132-0 in the first day of action.. Should be a tough team. Hoping to avenge a loss in the Conference Championship game last season..
4. Buckeye Nation - The Nation is on our radar now after smacking the Waverly Beavers around 133-0 in the opener. A non boosting team with a good strategy. This team will be a factor and is my sleeper pick for the Eastern Conference..
5. New York Squad - Another returning team looking to erase some sour memories. After recieving a first round shutout loss in last years playoffs, I believe the Squad can pull it together and round out the Top 5 in the conference as a very solid team presenting an upset alert for all the teams above..
WESTERN CONFERENCE
1. Oregon Baby Octupi - Azure Dreams.. Popularity Contest!! 24-0 Win over the Billygoats. Not all that impressive, but only a loss can dethrone this team.
2. Dayton Tater Tots - Looking to bounce back after a serious butt-whooping being handed to them in the second round of the playoffs last season. Solid and Easy win in the first week against a CPU squad..
3. Lil Mob - Returning with attitude and experience. Get's a solid win in week one against the Boston Giants, routing them 42-0.
4. Craobh Ruadh Ridirean - New team to League #4. Surely not a step behind. This team looks solid, with a bunch of Day 31 players. Should keep an eye out for this team, I get a strong feeling from them.. 28-17 Win in the first week, not fashionable.
5. San Antonio Sabres - Another new team to the League, looking very promising. Have a couple boosters to help the cause. Should be tough in the early going. 87-0 over a Toronto team that is no joke..
