Warrior General Games

Yes my friends back for its fourth season.....it's the DARTBOARD.......

Once again the Dart and I will match wits.....I will make selections based on my powers of observation and knowledge of the game (rudimentary as they may be) and the dart will make his selections by being blindly hurled at 2 post it notes stuck to a......dartboard.

In the way of explanation to all the new guys in the league Dart is not my alter ego, dart is not another agent or gm in this league, Dart is not a person (although there will be times when I anthropomorphize him). The dart is just that......a dart.....a metal throwing implement used for games of skill (or violence against your douche bag cousin when you were a kid......but i digress)......
This is a place for discussion and humor (i hope). Don't take it too seriously and don't get butt hurt, it's a game after all.....So lets have at it.......Game on boys

ok because of my late start on this, I'll keep it simple this time around......I'll keep the analysis to a minimum.


Alpha

Glastonbury appears to have improved over the off season we'll see as they take on The Stampede, who had a very good opening campaign in zeta......I'll take the Stampede.......dart takes The Knights

The boondockers are a cpu team for the most part and will get destroyed by the bloodravens..........dart takes the ravens also

the Spaniards has more depth than dresden and Dresden has some obvious holes especially in their defense.....I'll take the Warriors.......Dart likes the Bombers

after a couple of rough seasons the Bow Street Runners will be looking to bounce back.....it won't be an easy task against Buffalo. I think buffalo wins this game.......dart agrees for once.....uh oh buffalo bad things happen when dart and I agree...

Cork City takes on the Vatican, the teams look evenly matched but as is my tradition i will go with my own team on this one......dart will take the angels....he has a thing for wings i guess.......

kilkenny takes on the Blood Sausages, I'll take Kilkenny in a coin flip.........dart takes the blood sausages.....(insert dart taking the sausage joke here)

the drunken monkeys.....lose......congrats Tommies on your first victory.........Dart likes monkeys because they are funny ask anyone......unless it happens to be an older chimp that decides he wants to bite off your testicles......

Ithica welcome to the league and your first victory.......dart goes against all logic and reason and takes the cpu team......that wacky dart such a rogue......

Barcelona has an advantage at the line of scrimmage, Grim is pretty cagey though so you never know.....I'll take the Conquistadors........Dart takes the Reapers

On paper Basin city and Valencia look evenly matched, I know nothing about Basin city I'm not going to pretend that i do.....so I'll take Valencia........Dart also takes the bats (again with the wings)

The bloodsuckers take on Wiesbaden......the Suckers love to pass we'll see if the husky defense is up to the task......I think they are, Huskies win......Dart takes The Bloodsuckers......

What happens in Vegas Stays in vegas......what happens in the Vatican Happens to alter boys.........was that in poor taste? Anyway the paladins win.....dart takes the thunder

The stingrays look like they get a good test early on, we will see how the Saints match up......i will take the Rays......Dart takes the Saints......

London is slightly over matched by the Assassins, double ass wins.......Dart agrees.....whoops

The fearless Lions have nothing to fear from the Dead Monkeys......Lion win by 10 touchdowns or more.......dart take the monkeys......I think he's being a......DAY DREAM BELIEVER.........ahhhhh you see what i did there????......get it.......uhhhh????

The Widowmakers make their league debut in an intriguing match-up with the Bulldogs who are also new to the league.....I have no clue about either of these teams....so I guess I'll take the Dogs.......dart takes Berlin

I must appologize, but, i should warn you now that you will never be first......not that i have anything against you.......you're in Zeta and since I always do Alpha first based on standing top to bottom and then I do the same with Zeta. In order to get closer to the top you would either have to be the number 1 team in Zeta or play the number 1 team in Zeta......you'll have to excuse my linear thinking......but as they say, thems are the breaks.......

I tell you what, I for one am enthralled at you're write up! I like the way you approach the whole subject matter of the teams, conferences and so forth, and it's great! Quite funny exactly how you broke it down for everyone, and to me, that's the best part! As far as tomorrow goes for the Widowmakers and the Bulldogs, I honestly could care less now as this made me laugh so hard that I literally spit my drink onto my desk! Very good work, indeed it took some time and it should be acknowledged, so thank you very much for you're contribution to the forums!

It was pretty kind of the schedule maker algorithm to give us the only cpu from zeta for our home opener.

Ok so there went game 1......lets see what game 2 holds in store for us.......

Ithica gets the double header of ass kickery.......I think the space monkeys are gonna carve up the dead monkeys worse than a jilted Emo kids arms.....dart takes the dead monkeys

the Stingrays get to Croc hunter the Saints....this is going to hurt Boondockers......Dart also takes the Rays

The Widowmakers are undefeated......that would be more impressive if this weren't game 2, but i don't think this game will change their undefeated status......Berlin wins........Dart takes the knights

kilkenny gets an auto win......don't worry cpu teams don't bleed......dart takes the Cannibals as well

i hope the Spaniards brought their running shoes as they get the aerial bombardment that is Transylvania. I think the bloodsuckers win......dart disagrees and takes the warriors......

the thunder get to enter the Lair after we lost....I think we are going to win.....dart likes vegas.......legal prostitution, free booze and gambling whats not to like?

Bow street and london lock horns to see who controls the town......bow street bounces back and gets the win....dart also goes with the runners and wonders "when is asmodan coming back?"

Zeta

the Ravens take on the bats......both teams look good early on but I gotta go with my gut and take the Bats in close one......dart is conflicted because of his love for all teams with winged mascots.....he picks Tie

the conquistadors play the tommies.....I know very little about the Connies, however, based on what I know of the Tommies I'm going to pick Barcelona........Dart Takes the Tommies...

The assX2's take on the Fearless Lions......based on what the Lions weren't able to do able to do against a cpu team.....the double asses win. dart takes ass too....

the Paladins are taking on a new guy......I dont think the saints can stand up to the paladins......dart takes the saints

Dresden gets a real good test versus the buffalos, i think they fail this test....tatanka wins.....dart takes dresden

the stampede take on the blood sausages....i hope you weren't planning to pass the ball vienna if you were it could be a long day.....Sayreville wins this one........Dart.....big surprise takes the sausage....deviant

you see bulldogs if you were playing the bloodravens you wouldn't have to read all that other stuff to get here and find out that you aren't going to win..........dart thinks you will though....so theres always that
