This week brought a little mix up in the Top 5 positions.
Manitoba Warmageddons
With a game they won 34-27 against the Orangetown DarkStars(18) they get bumped from #2 to #1. This is a good team that seems to be winning the games it should. It will continued to be tested next week against the Vancouver Surge, a team that currently ranks #7 in the West and #10 Overall.
Labatt Blue
This team drops down a spot with an easy win over the SeaCastle DeepOnes at the score of 157-0. Let's see if their game planning slacks because of this. The next game will be a real challenge against the YellowKnife DiamondCutters who currently reside at #3 in the West and #6 Overall. Possibly the Matchup of the week.
YellowKnife Diamond Cutters
A tough loss, 30-37, against the team ranked 2nd in the West and Overall. The game came down the the last 2 minutes when an unfortunate fumble cost the game for the Cutters. Don't expect that to get that lucky break when playing them. Can the bounce back against the Blue next?
Anvelsteen Maniacs
In yet another close game, The Maniacs scored big in the 2nd period and managed to hang on in the 3rd and 4th quarters. This new team is off to a good start. They are playing to prove they belong among the best, so far so good. They manage to claim to #4. Looks like they can take a break with a fairly easy game next week.
Saskatoon Dream
A team that felt they deserved to be mentioned among the league tops, The Saskatoon Dream beats one of the worst teams in the conference with authority. The win allows them to climb all the way up to 5 from 10 form the preseason. This team also gets an easy matchup against RedWings.
