I think I need a better gaurd. Mine are too slow. I am even going so far as to offer my level 16 lb for a trade. I figure I can fill in with some backups and not hurt the defense too badly, but if the trade puts points on the board and wins in the column it has to be a good idea right.

Any advice from my fellow league mates.

If your guard is too slow, run inside so he won't be exploited as much. As he levels or boosts, up the speed. My players have a moderate amount of speed, which is working just fine when I run. Only when you play the blitz heavy teams do you really notice the speed. If the pulling OL can pul l and block the person the FB missed, it can open the oustide passing game a large amount.

Also, have your WRs give blocking a five point hit when they level. That's partially the reason some WRs are great blocking but have lower OVR on the bar then other levels. They know it's a team effort and maximize their blocking potential. WR blocks can turn a four yard gain into a touchdown if they block the CB from the right angle.

Most running plays are to the right. What about putting your better gaurd at the RG spot?
