Okay, so I couldn't sleep over this. I went back and adjusted the chemistry multiplier to have a lesser effect overall. Plus, a number of teams boosted and/or acquired new guys, so this should be far more accurate:

Bold=Definite playoff teams
Italics=Will contend for playoffs, but not assured

Team************************Score
1. Edmonton Thunder*********207.5
2. Tadoussac Whalers********200.6
3. Fort McMurray***************192.4
4. Rancho Panasqueritos*****191.6
5. Grove City Bucks************188.5

6. Victoria Fish*****************181.1
7. Canada Dragons************180.8
8. Manitoba Lions**************180.3
9. Victoria Falcons**************173.7
10. Moose Jaw Rough***********173.1
11. Arroz Con Pollo**************173.0
12. British Columbia***********172.5
13. Montreal Pub Crawlers******172.5
14. Buffalo Bison****************168.6

15. Saskatoon Lizards**********114.8
16. Alberta Irukandji*************Not cool enough to get ranked

The method was using team player levels, all 3 chemistry levels, team depth, and average # of plays a player would get at his depth. Also, if a player is not backed up, he received a penalty (except QB). If a player is the backup for more than two positions he received a penalty as well.

This reflects a better snapshot of the league overall. You can see how the chemistry thing really change the Thunderbolts ranking. They are still dangerous with their chemistry so low right now.

Though I have Edmonton #1, I would say they may be a bit of a fraud, no offense. They have some really high leveled guys on their O line, but the builds aren't that good. Top to bottom this is a really tough league though. I think this will be an "Any Given Sunday" season for this conference. I mean there is a block of five teams separated by less than 1 point in the composite.

So this one I will defend to the death. While it may be that game planning will get you wins and losses and a few other factors will come into play (ex: morale), I think this is much more far and as scientific as it gets.

Alright, tee off boys...

seems like most of the league wimped out and recruited the highest level players they could find. Could be another long season in Moose Jaw. Although, we probably would have adjusted our depth charts if we had known the rankings were based on depth charts LOL.

lol Razor I liked how you ranked your team as one of the ones that WILL make the playoffs but ranked us 11th.

Seriously, that's what you think? Hm. OK. I guess we'll see, won't we?

Nice, build in your excuses early. If ONLY people hadn't recruited better than you, you could contend. Just STFU and take your ass whippings.

LOL...read my post in bender's thread...the only thing that might be right on these is The Edmonton Prediction...pfft....and possibly the 2 new teams that I don't know yet that moved up from the BBB league division.

LOL though, nice try! (and also thanks for posting....It will be awesome to refer back to this at season's end. )

Frankly I am tired of seeing Arroz always so low on these predictions. I know they are just numbers. I will just say for the sake of making the sims as good as they can be. Do not underestimate Arroz, or it will be a day you never forget......

By the way did you notice that the Thunderbolts are using half a dozen cpu players to get those high levels for there team ? I'm not sure a team with so many cpu players deserves a #4 ranking. But that's just me I guess.

Exactly, the Thunderbolts look like a team that should be ranked 13th or something.
